Heya Scipi, nice to see you among us. May The Game be with you. Yep I still remember the HOMER-16 nick :D

Also glad you are planning to do Arduino stuff. I know Juju and Keoni29 sometimes does and Juju also has that board made by TI that is similar. As for computer games I can't wait to see new stuff too from you. Feel free to showcase them in the non-calc sections (and on Omni) whenever you feel ready :).

On a side note I hope none of the non-staff members hate green... O.O

I learned recently my local Radioshack sells peripherals for Arduino boards, and I already know a little about how to program them since I programmed mine to control my brother's 3D printer a few months back. There's a few projects I can think of that I'd like to try out. >:D

I also have a few comp projects in the works. At the very least, I'll be sharing my Ludum Dare entry for this coming weekend ^_^

With what happened with certain members on other forums in the past, I doubt regular members will ever have the option to delete their posts here in the future. :P

But yeah I'm fixing it now :)

As for green I was asking because when I told people about this website, they don't necessarily know how it will look like once they get access. So sometimes it could be like "OMG I want to join I like the idea!!1!1one" then once they see the site they are scared for life. :P

And wow I didn't know Radioshack sold Arduino stuff. Over here we got The Source, which is inferior to Radioshack IMHO (other than the fact they don't "force" you to give your social security number, home address, size of underwear and sexual orientation for any purchase) because they have less stuff and wires are overpriced. Radioshack in Canada was completely replaced by The Source by Circuit City in 2005 (The Source after Circuit City went under)

I think it's part of an incentive to get children more into hardware stuff. The one near me has an entire section dedicated towards the stuff, including a few books with some interesting code examples. They don't seem to hold back on the C++ or oversimplify, which is nice for a change. Once I get a better paying job I expect to dabble a bit, at the very least.

Ah right, plus they sell some children toys like miniature copters and stuff. I wish that The Source was as much into it, because atm they look more like Best Buy but 100 times smaller >.<

Welcome Scipi, I do remember the days when you were called HOMER-16. :P Also nice to see you're getting into hardware. This should encourage me to cross post my GameCube mod. <_<

pimathbrainiac

Welcome Scipi! I happen to do a little arduino on the side as well as the others. Also HOMER-16 best nick.
Well, I'm bach here too!

Off-topic: That reminds me, I had a Walrii sprite with all power ups equipped somewhere. I should post it :P (he had wings)

That seems scary. :P

That said, I have yet to hear about one instance of a walrus wandering in the woods. They normally stay ashore or in the water, usually in group. :P
