First of all, congratulations to MateoConLechuga and the other contributors to the TI-83 Premium CE and TI-84 Plus CE C SDK and libraries project, which just won the September 2016 Monthly CW Project Award by a large margin (11 votes) and good job to all other project authors! Here are all the winners so far:
June 2016: (TI-84+CE) ICE Compiler v1.1 (https://codewalr.us/1234/39569)
July 2016: (fx-CG10/20) Internet on Casio PRIZM (https://codewalr.us/1424/41153)
August 2016: (TI-84+CE) CEmu (https://codewalr.us/965/43326)
September 2016: (TI-84+CE) C SDK and Libraries (https://codewalr.us/1050/44173)
In addition to that, you can now browse CodeWalrus in Chinese, German, Hebrew and Russian. It was previously possible to browse the website interface in Dutch, English, French and Japanese, meaning that 8 languages are now available. Note, however, that all of them are just partial translations, due to CW using several third-party SMF plugins, and due to some translations being incomplete.
I really don't see the point in adding more languages, only like 5 or so pieces if text get translated :(
he's already working at that :)

It can accomodate more of our users. I saw many people who had serious troubles understanding English. That said, the most ideal thi g would be to have a Bing or Google translate button next to each post.
Should/could I help with the Chinese version?
that might be fun.... people that dont speak english posting google translated texts and translating our english answer to whatever strange language...
Sure we dont want to ban people that dont speak english... but I really wonder how much help / fun a forum is if you have to translate everything like that... :ninja:
Maybe there isn'T even a word for "Walrus" in their language :'(
probably another point in account settings? Activate/deactivate translations.
Else people could translate posts but still won't understand the titles in "NEW POTS"...
so it would have to translate the whole page.
A simple "translte" button below each post won't be enough.
Alternatively add a little interfce where other members could add translations of the titles :)
(I see a new post nmed "funny pics" so I open it, click on "add translation" and put in "Witzige Bilder" so german guys will get this translation shown if they have the option activated)
But both options would be loots of work... :/
Seems like it would be too easy to abuse unfortunately :(
yess indeed. But maybe only give these privileges to a special usergroup or something?
I know the solution isnt perfect but I just dont see any better way of implementing it ...
Yeah the issue is that it would be annoying to read posts but see half of the replies in a different language. As for volunteer translations I doubt that would happen much but maybe it couls at least be done for news posts?

Multilingual news sounds like a good idea, but I just don't see it happening for posts at all ;)
all we need is one super-bored over-motivated guy for every language xD
German one here ;D ;)

dont
i think p2 would mistranslate for cash.
plus
he misspelt dj as jd once
for ages
I admid it ._. :'( I misspelled DJ Omnimaga as JD Omnimaga... :'(
but we got a couple more German guys so it'S not that terrible of I make a small mistake...
btw reposts are evil!! ;)
I don't mind DJOmnimaga being misspelled as much when people omits the DJ part. This can lead to confusion since Omnimaga is the name of a website.
