So apparently the thing to do is to just create a general post for all your moosics, and since I love to
shamelessly whore get feedback on my moosics, I'll post stuff here if I like it and it's longer than 30 seconds / longer than 8 measures (or is it bars? I can never remember). I make a ton of loops that I like but aren't really very well developed ideas at all, so why waste space posting them.
To start off here's a synthwavey thing I made earlier today which I think I can develop into a full track once I get time to sit down in FL. This was just a quick sketch in Caustic on my phone though. I especially like the second half.

Also here's a stream I did awhile ago if you're into that sorta thang. I think it ends up sounding pretty neat. There's other recordings on my channel too, but I haven't been able to stream regularly yet :-\.

Don't be insulted if it takes me awhile to reply to stuff. As people like
@DJ Omnimaga know, I'm really bad at using forums regularly. I do get email notifications tho, so that helps.
Sounds really cool!
How long did it take you to make it?
I don't know, probably 2 or 3 hours.

Messing with implementing delay in an analog-delay style https://soundcloud.com/unknownloner/delay-experiment
had a chance to listen to your stuff at last, you have a lot of tracks on there, i listened down to insomnia so far
FM Jam is brilliant techno and i like insomnia a lot as well
nice
Awesome, glad you like it!
New ambienty thing I made

Nice sound effects you got in the clips above. Hopefully they are useful for future songs you make. As for the last track, I like some ambient music sometimes, assuming it's the relaxing kind, and this one happens to have some beat but be minimal, so I like even more. :)
I wonder if they can hypnotize people with such music? :P
Can't wait for future songs from you
@unknownloner :)
I decided to try to make something with FL Studio's old and lower-power synths, along with some of their presets
https://soundcloud.com/unknownloner/preset-paradise
I've got
* FPC
* FL Keys
* Boo Bass
* 3xOsc (THE LEGEND!)
* Fruity DX10
And then I just used normal filters I'd use and whatever.
Also, it's amazing just how fast stuff renders when you use those old plugins!
Oooh, nice songs here. 3xOsc is indeed a beast of a plugin for FL Studio.
I like the oldschoolness of that song :D. ALso old plugins can be handy sometimes, especially if free. Does any of those let you use wav instruments instead of effects?
Yeah, I think there's a generic sampler included in FL that can do that. The ones I used don't though.
I just realized that even if you get super famous one day, your music will still be called unknown music :trollface:
and i just realised there is already a famous dj called dj unknown he's called chris unknown
AND he's been around since the 90s
:P
he he heh heh he
LOL I'm the new DJ Unknown, get rekt other guy!
Anyways.
Y'ALL.
YOU ALL.
OMG.
I got a yamaha PSS-480 at the thrift store for $6
Took it home, hooked it up to midi and my audio interface
This thing has some monster potential
https://soundcloud.com/unknownloner/pss480-test-super-noisy-at-end
This is raw!!!
Listen to the end, especially around the 1:17 mark and beyond. What a lead!
Also I figured out it doesnt destabilize like that if I dial the feedback level down one, and it still sounds pretty sweet:
https://soundcloud.com/unknownloner/pss-480-with-less-feedback
https://soundcloud.com/unknownloner/pss480demo6 (less highs version of same thing)
I start messing with moving the feedback up and down at the end there.
Kick is just a 909 sample, not from the synth (though it does have some PCM drum samples)
Recorded another thing with this synth real quick
https://wf.ukl.me/cooljan23-2.wav
Recorded with my phone hence the lower audio quality, but still sounds pretty sweet IMO
Listen to dat sweet sweet distortion

That might not be a good thing, and I'm sure that as an hardcore raver,
@kotu knows what I am talking about, because try to search for music by UFO on Youtube and good luck finding any relevant result, even after adding "hardcore" in the search query. This is why I am happy Sy and Unknown did not just use the Unknown moniker, else finding any of his songs would be impossible.
Basically, avoid using a very common word as your artist/author name, otherwise nobody will be able to find any of your work in Google search.
Anyway Unknownloner that first Pss480 test reminds me a bit of some Utz calculator sounds at first. I like it. Also that last thing you posted would fit very well in some trance music :)
Yeah it's definitely got that sorta lo-fi raspyness to it.

Raspyness as in Rasberry Pi? O.O Or do you mean something else lol. In any case for a recent style electronic dance song it would fit perfectly. I don't do music under new styles but I would be curious about how one of my songs would sound like in new style.
