Messages - Dream of Omnimaga

#17641
Idk, I still think our server is not configured properly. But yeah if there is no solution found before it's almost time to open this site to public we will definitively have to find alternatives.

EDIT: Best. 404. Page. Ever: http://codewalr.us/thegame .

The website is so much more responsive now that omnomirc has been disabled. I don't mind using a separate client for IRC.
If Juju and pimath can't figure out how to fix the issues, then what juju or someone else could do is modify SimplePortal's default shoutbox feature so that when people send messages, it relays them to IRC and vice-versa and when there is a new post, the forums automatically posts a notification in the shoutbox.

Aah ok, I'll check them out. Also what's Pillow? Is that a new calc utility for appvars? ???

Perhaps, but remixed, most likely, since the old stuff for the most part was crap with some good ideas mixed in.
It depends, I found some of the later stuff quite entertaining myself. Maybe you could remix them but include some originals as bonus tracks?

This is why sometimes I prefer to use local brick and mortal stores, since I will not only get the stuff immediately if I find it, but also no shipping. On the other hand, their prices are way higher since they have to cover extra costs (employee paychecks, the rent, equipment, etc) so you might still be in for over $100 worth of parts. Also, you have taxes, while if you are lucky online, you might not pay them, plus some stores check Ebay prices to fix theirs, so if an item on Ebay is $5 + $25 shipping then the store will charge $28  >.<

By the way, you should really implement Next block feature so we know what block is about to appear, like in other Tetris games :P

UPDATE:

- [email protected] is now a valid email address. If you guys want one (either the pass to that email and/or your own email), please ask me.
- HTTPS is enabled

New bugs:

- HTTPS is broken
Does enabling HTTPS on the site cost money, though, or did you get a decent certificate for free?

Also for e-mail is it possible to make emails forward to another address too? I only use Gmail as client so I might forget to check the e-mail address. >.<

Graphics are pretty small. Most gfx are re-used tiles with a different color. The map is gonna be quite large though, but you might be able to compress it.
Oh right, kinda like my HP Prime game's floor blocks. And yeah using paletters would make the tilesheet much smaller and more versatile, but I wonder if it would be slower?

[Inactive] KnightOS (TI-73/83+/84+/CSE) / Re: KnightOS

I got a quad core 2.8 GHz with 8 GB of RAM so maybe it's my GPU?  Anyway I assume it will improve in terms of speed in the future, else not many people will use it. If jsTIfied CSE emulation can run at full speed on this computer then I'm sure it would be possible to improve this KOS emulator to run just as fast. It just takes quite a lot of work and we have to be patient. >.<

But when I added more last time it errored out so I had to replace some. <.<

EDIT: Good news, the 404 not found on login was fixed. It's due to a bug in SimplePortal with the Disable Portal Redirect option. I unchecked it now.

Also I think matref is on the verge of being invited in ^^
#17653
Ah ok. Maybe an album with your old stuff in a few years ^^

Hehe ;D

Also although we can't use the site name nor logo on other sites yet, we can use some slogans like "Remember when the walrus started to fly" in our sigs.

I tried last night copy and the score leaves traces behind digits when updated.
