I don't work on this game religiously, because I don't want to get burned out :)
The game has gone through a few iterations,
the first engine is way more different than the latest edition.

Above is a screenshot of the graphics. Hope you likey.

The game started as an RPG which was a ripoff of Liberal Crime Squad.
Now it's a rip off of X-COM Apocalypse!

The game so far only has the technical stuff. Like path finding (A Star), Line of sight (As you can see in the picture),
and it even has a level editor, but the editor was made in a day, so you can guess what the quality of it is ;)

Desc:
*The game takes place in a city and you must protect it from damage,
so basically just think of X-COM Apocalypse.
*If I can, I will add dwarf-fortress-like limb detachment and damage!
*The sprites are (hopefully) just place holders, but I have no idea where the art direction is going.

Thanks for viewing, and hopefully this belongs in this section!

p.s. If you have any ideas or questions, then please do share. I'm excited to hear about it.

It would be amazing if someone could port Elite to the ti-8*Plus systems,
but I can't imagine it running faster than a few frames per second.

Builderboy was the person who made the Code War port.
I don't think any competitions were held though :^(

Ah, hardware games.

This game reminds me of Robot Odyssey with all the gates you got here. I miss sparky.
I hope you have a chance to complete this.

edit: Was there any inspiration behind this game? I'd love to know.

A scientist wonders about the universe and says, "Why?".
An engineer creates things and says, "How?".
An artist draws, and says, "Can I take your order please?".

I love art, please don't destroy me artists. :)

Thank you, p2!

High School programming is very easy. 92+'s for me :)
I imagine you're talking about post secondary, and jobs, which scares the socks off me, haha.
I'm glad that I can share the feeling with someone else :D

An RPG sounds like quite a lot of fun, I may just try it.
It's much more fun making things when you got a challenge!

As a child I loved electronics, I had a kit that had transistors and LED's and resistors, etc.
I used to break stuff open, but I never understood how they worked. Now that's all changed!
I don't really like web-dev (HTML-wise, I like hearing about the back end though) It's not in my personal interests.

I have two soldering irons (one was never used because my weaker one works fine :) )
when winter is over I have plans to de-solder stuff and build a switch-Calculator.

We are the Canadian trio now. I do hope for more of us.

I am Windows-OS dominant, as for calculator-wise I program for the TI-83p and TI-84p.
I have only been seriously programming since 2013.

I feel like I don't have "real programming experience".
I can make path finding, sorting algorithms, and games (light),
but I can't make kernels, emulators, etc (heavy and down to the metal) :(

I've heard rumour that the reason that TI gave out the documentation for the calcs is because of
communities like this one. I hope that's true, because that is cool.

Hello, my name is Matthew going by the alias "Mazhat".

I program in C++ programming, z80 ASM (opcode-wise only as that's how I learned it :'( ),
and some little trinkets of other languages,
but I want to learn from you guys.

I live in Ontario Canada, hope that's vague enough haha.

This website excites me as I didn't live through the early personal computer era.
This website is like going to the 1970's
when everything was new and undiscovered.

Thank you for this opportunity which I would have never had otherwise :)

Also I love DJ Omnimaga.
