So the 1st round just ended with the Lightning winning against the Red Wings. Bracket challenge is now 46 to 43 for DJ (because you correctly predicted the number of games for one more matchup than me lol.) We both have 4 predictions right. We also both have one correct matchup in the 2nd round, gotta be interesting.

Darn I wished we could have gotten a Wings vs Habs series. It would be epic. I am surprised I predicted number of games that accurately for some matchups though. Hopefully I do better in the 2nd round. >.<

Hopefully. Habs just lost to the Lightning 2-1 in 2OT. If they manage to win it'll be most likely in 7.

I agree. Tampa has more chances than Detroit but I wish that Detriot was still in since I like them more.

So yep, although the Lightning lost, I am glad that most series ended up going in the opposite direction in the last few days. At first it looked like every losing team would get swept in 4 games, which kinda made the 2nd round less interesting to me compared to the 1st, but now it's getting more interesting.

I'm thinking Lightning in 6 and Caps in 7. Still undecided about the Flames, but my bracket challenge said Calgary would win in 2nd round vs Winnipeg (who never came close to the 2nd)

Yep, the playoffs sure are interesting this year. Also, blimey, Canadiens won again. Will they win another 2 games? If they do they're definitely Stanley Cup-worthy.
