I like that city picture. I bet at 4K resolution on a 80 inch monitor it would be a bit scary, though. :P

This is my new Linux desktop:

I don't think that I have already mentioned it, but I quickly went ahead and purged Archlinux and replaced it with Kubuntu.
It's not great but works.

This is why I am just trying out Fedora.

What features do you like in Kubuntu over Archlinux and what do you like less?

Kubuntu was quite easy, worked well, came with all drivers and looked very nice.
But it had some bugs and I deleted it today and replaced it by Fedora.
I personally dislike Archlinux as a daily used OS, as it is too unstable for me.

Heh, depends how stable you want your distro. Personally, I like Archlinux and I have been using it for years for exactly this reason.

Isn't Archlinux like mostly command based, but offering much more freedom as a result, including rendering the OS unuseable by accident?

Pretty much. There is no automatic installation process, so you can customize how it's getting installed in every point.

Basically all Linuxes are quite free. You can change the DWM and many other things on most distibutions. I personally find arch more of a hassle than a good.
One can just go ahead and take a Linux that comes with a lot and just customize it. And you can render every OS unusable by accident.
