Dream of Omnimaga

We have been slow on calculator release news in the last few months due to various factors, such as life duties, programming, Summer vacations and two episodes of ghost busting that happened in Quebec City last weekend when myself, @Juju and @Patrick Davidson met in person. But it's now time to start clearing the CodeWalrus news pending queue of 39 programs (it's possible that we missed some, but yes, the pending queue really reached 39), so let's start with TI-Nspire material!

nBoot

We had waited before newsing about this particular software due to lack of tutorials and the high risks of using it without one, but it's now time to mention nBoot. If you're stuck with Boot1 3.0.0.99 on your TI-Nspire, once you have read the tutorial the nBoot will give you total control of your calculator, from hardware revision A to V. An example of use for this tool, once you read the tutorial, is that you can now boot straight into Linux on your TI-Nspire CX. Once you have read the tutorial, you can dual-boot, for example, with Linux and the Nspire OS, although according to the news, it won't necessarily give you by itself alone the power to run a CAS OS on a non-CAS calculator model. Make sure to read the tutorial before using this.
