In this game is a evil troll who has 5 rooms as part of his kitchen and a room called wall city. You have been captured.

Does anyone use C++Builder? it is a mighty tool.

I still use Turbo C++ 2006 free edition which came with 100 years license

if you are looking at ways of making efficient networks between many nodes (for example to design an underground rail system) you might want to look at slime molds. these single-cell organisms get quite large (20cm across easily) and they form inter-cell paths for food to travel down. found to create very efficient networks, equivalent to expert human designers (for example of rail system)

apparently they use pulses to coordinate the maze mapping (i think)

Are you trying to generate 2D meshes from general shape definitions? Because I played about with something like that about 12 years ago..... just finding the file. It might not help you though... will post some pics in a bit

*update*

the program generates flat 2D 'panels' based on points that you input...... however I'm not sure if the app fulfils yours criteria as I'm not sure if it would do this...

or this......

in a given situation. It does however allow for holes in a mesh...

There is a bug in it though... see this,,

You can have the source if it helps you

Sorry if this wasn't relevant to you lol

just seems like a load of calls to sqrt() * to determine 2D distances

* (if you're using C orC++)

yeah ok you can't test a path in its purest sense, as you will have to break the path down into points (pixels for example)

that would require a  formulaic solution and more processing time. the pixels based approach would probably suffice, i guess

Have worked out a way to still make the game, featuring D&D monsters instead. So it is more of a children's game, as its fun to find out the type of monster. Do you guys think it could still have an additional text file, with the alternative texts in?

Reading it back it does seem like it would be perfectly ok for a child to read - would appreciate you feedback DJ

(The following spoiler section contains all 6 monster types CAUTION)

I, the maker of this software program. am not a racist. One of my best
friends is Jewish and (I am ashamed to say this) one of them is also
black. I apologise. :p

The game is actually intended anti-racist and is meant with affection.
Anyway here are the alternative monster definitions.

******** ****    - black *******
*********          - jewish ****
********            - an actual minotaur
***  ********     - a rubbish turk
***********       - evil chinaman
**** **** *****  - human

would the data be easy to import to a pc do you know?
They operate using lists already in calculator format. The CBR2 should use a modified TI-85 link protocol if it works like a CBL/CBL2, but it depends on what calculator is connected.

does anyone know how the native list format works or have a converter? i looked at one in hex but it doesn't look straightforward to me

*edit*
have figured it out somewhat. strange format

i have no idea how to approah this

i skim-read your post because it looked difficult to understand, i doubt i could understand it if i had read it (without you explaining in person) and tbh i think you need someone trained in graph theory lol

*edit*
is it possible to make a picture of the 1-2-3 example?

Btw even if it's for countryside pics, can we still post pics of less populated parts of our cities that have lots of green such as big parks?
yes
