Well, I basically get this thing :
(The connection with the TI-Nspire units is not available)
And of course, computer rebooted, software reinstalled, nothing happened...
I'm on Mac OS X 10.11.6, neither v4.3 nor 4.2 of TINTS/TINSS did work...
I've had this issue too, and although I know absolutely nothing about it, what I can say is that rebooting my physical nspire(tiny blue button on the back) often helped with it showing up.
He rebooted multiple times already, so in his case that won't make any difference. Is the calculator charging, by the way? (Otherwise the USB jack might be broken)
He said he rebooted his computer, not his calculator, so maybe it could make a difference. But yeah, definitely do check if the calc is charging.
Iirc I talked to STV yesterday. He already tried reinstallation, reboot AND changing the USB-Port. :-/
So unless ALL of his USB ports are dead that can't be the problem.
But maybe it's something wrong with the cable so it might still be a good idea to check if it's charging
Actually it is charging, and the problem does note come from the cable or the USB but directly from the software, which has all its connectivity features disabled (i.e., it doesn't even want to check the USB ports...)
Huh? But shouldnt a reinstalation fix this problem then? I mean it's notlike this stuff is disabled by default?
Maybe permission issues? I don't know really. I hope your calc isn't corrupted and stuff
@STV: since this problem started over a month ago, did you manage to fix it by now? And if yes how did you do it? :)
