I've been listening to a bunch of lesser known bands lately, namely The Seahorses (1997 ish?), Likely Lads (disbanded last year, all their music is free on Bandcamp!), The Blue Dawns (new band, same members as Likely Lads minus one guitar player).

Also although I often listen to extreme stuff, here is one commercial song that still plays over here that I like a lot:

Maybe because the beat with guitar has a bit of that country vibe you get from some Quebec songs or something. Another song I like with a bit of similar vibe, but not as calm, is this:

It sounds a lot like some Quebec music, except of course it's not anywhere close from Quebec.

I lol'ed at the beginning where he blows in the guitar jack like with NES cartridges

Also sounds quite nice. I generally don't like that type of metal/rock with the very low pitched guitars like in Metallica's Saint Anger album, but it still came out pretty nicely for my tastes.

EDIT: Btw that song was awesome for Lucky Luke fans

It's actually multiple parts and is quite funny at times, but the guy who made this video merged them all (somewhat)
