Yeah that's what I think, especially near the end where he seemed to try hitting that big black enemy thing on the moon. It was still funny to see him become 1st in just a few seconds, though, considering that even after using the bullet bill item, he was still close to last.

I'm unsure if this is fake but apparently someone managed to port the GCN RR theme to MK64 and it sounds quite nice:

ANyone knows about the N64 sounds capabilities vs GC? From what I could hear from N64 tracks it seems like that particular track could definitively be real if the user replaced the instruments.

Definitely. There would be guns and stuff, and it would be called, "Kart Karnage Wii" and the winner would be that one guy who managed to get his vehicle stuck somewhere between some trees on a reverse track.

Nah I meant the battle modes in Mario Kart series, where you just use the same power-ups as in regular races.

I'm surprised that Mario Kart WIi is the most popular of the bunch(even though I voted for the Wii version)

It probably has something to do with how popular the console was. Mario Kart DS had the same thing happening, but then if you look at the Gamecube and Wii U versions, sales are way lower

What surprises me though is how poorly Mario Kart Super Circuit sold, considering the GBA popularity. Plus MK8 is about to outsell Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64

Probably because almost nobody owns two identical game consoles. Granted, the GCN was very small and could be carried around more easily.
