Don't worry, I've received political asylum in Canada to continue my administrative duties to Codewalrca. I've been tasked with removing every other character from pre-2018 posts to make sure American users don't blow through their data caps.

I can volunteer to help out with things; my availability is bad during summers but I'm almost always around in IRC/discord.

Unfortunately, no content has been lost.
How this is unfortunate? :P

There were roughly three months between the last forum backup and the server going down, and no new posts were made.

Other / BosaikNet Resumes Normal Operation
July 07, 2017, 12:20:55 PM
After an extended period of crippling downtime, the BosaikNet forums have been restored to their state from December 2016. Unfortunately, no content has been lost. BosaikNet switched servers towards the beginning of 2017 and the database migration did NOT go smoothly; I figured out what went wrong and, in tandem with @Crawdad , fixed it. It now runs on phpBB 3.2. There may be some link rot that hasn't been fixed, but post there if there's any problems and they'll probably get ignored for a week before getting fixed.

if this is miscategorized, pls fix

Spawnbuild has lasted at least a year and is still technically ongoing. Server has been up for a few months at least, running 1.11.2.

1. Nope. Even the weaker Flash chips have a life expectancy longer than that of the LCD. The OTP-ROMs used in early calculators (TI-81, TI-85, TI-82, TI-83) are approaching their MTBF but I don't think that is related to usage.
2. I'd say the TI-83. From a classroom perspective, almost nothing useful has been added to the product line since the TI-83's introduction, besides the elimination of primary cells.
3. Between all of my calculators, the only thing that has failed is a single LCD column on a TI-82. The vast majority of my collection is over 20 years old, so connection aging is the primary concern.
4.
5. Yes, but learning assembly is easier.
6. The biggest project I have worked on is probably CBLM. I'm not sure if people use it (it's got quite a niche role), but it's probably the most advanced calculator solution for using the CBL.
7. I don't know enough about Axe (read: I know nothing about Axe) to advise on this.

The world was uncorrupted, I'm not sure if the plugins are 1.11.2 compatible; Minecrafty things are more of a bosaik issue.

would the data be easy to import to a pc do you know?
They operate using lists already in calculator format. The CBR2 should use a modified TI-85 link protocol if it works like a CBL/CBL2, but it depends on what calculator is connected.
