Title: Politics? Where's your dot? :)
Post by: p2 on March 21, 2017, 08:53:33 PM
This is a little test that displays your political beliefs on a chart, with the axes "Left->Right" and "Anarchism->Fascism"
It's actually pretty interesting to find out for yourself where u stand ^^
Also there's a picture showing you where Stalin, Hitler, Thatcher, Friedman and Ghandi would be in this test:
Here's another one with different examples like Anonymous ^^
(https://i.4cdn.org/pol/1489747169904.jpg)
You can take the test here:
https://politicalcompass.org/test

It's available in multiple languages :)

My results are:

Part way through the test wtf is this.......

"An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. "

NO. I am in control, and I will always decide. Done.

it's really weird to see how much we have in common in politics, but yet how much some of us usually fight over politics in the IRC :ninja:
Totally didn't expect such a result xD
Only Anons and Ghandis here ^^

I basically said that i was against the democracy but somehow, i'm not authoritarian.

Codewalr.us should make the test compulsory and anyone who's a tiny part of the right should be BANNED !

acually it's very simple.
To win this game, you must simply take on the religions.
Then you win

actually someone needs to provide a unified religions concept thing explaining all religions in one unifying spiritual theory involving and explaining god and death etc

incidentally i have been working on my homepage, adding a blog section.  <_<

Planet Takeover Guy might like most of the parties in Canada and the US. They're mostly to the authoritarian right, or at best, in the center. On that note, I don't know if it's like this in Europe, but elections are coming soon in France and each candidate are clearly left or right, so the last round of the presidentials is usually a battle between the left and the right. There's even candidates in the extreme left! In the US, good luck having any vote at all. Bernie Sanders was pretty much the last hope in the left, but guess the establishment in the right didn't really like him.

My apologies sir. :)

I never attended a Trump rally; but I would have like to have attended one of them.

I am really in an anti-establishment mood right now... I have some liberal views and some conservative views -- but i am more conservative than liberal. Actually, I thought I was more conservative than that test showed. One thing I really dislike about most politicians is that they screw you over once they are in office. You vote them in... and they screw you -- typical.

I would like to see an amendment to the US Constitution that introduces term limits for the House and Senate. This would keep politicians from hanging around forever -- voting for whatever seems popular at the moment, simply to keep their job.

So right now.... I hate the establishment -- and that includes both republicans and democrats.

I see that happening in the whole world :/
That's one of the reasons many people after some time tend to go for more extreme parties cuz at least they are more likely to keep their word.

I agree.

I would have liked to have gone to both parties' parties (cuz that's how it ends up being), but busy schedule. :(

I also want to have live lie detector tests for the candidates.  Much better.

Well, not really. You'd just vote for the one that lied better, and that's really bad.

Only on the presidency.

On a side note:
Also it turns out I'm a classical liberal, if I were to categorize myself beyond "libertarian." I was doing some reading and stumbled upon the definition of a classical liberal and it fits me perfectly. Random Wikipedia readings help with self-discovery, I guess. Also social liberalism isn't classical liberalism and visa-versa.

Interesting video with an explanation of what classical liberalism is:
