Heya and welcome to CodeWalrus Mateo. I like your Portal game

And yeah lol this site remained mostly private for almost 2 months before opening (or over 2 if we include founding/planning) and there are some people who have awaited for their account to be validated since December 10th when we ended beta registrations. We actually gradually unveiled the existence of the site to public via our signatures and avatars then it finally reached the point where four people tried to break in, forcing us to reveal the plan 5 days earlier.

Hi peoples
I am T.Wang and I currently own a Ti-nspire CX. I have been coding 83/84s (BASIC) for about 4 years now, as well as nspires (BASIC) for about 2 years.

Thats about it I guess.

I also have a ti-calc and a cemetech :)

Agothro here.

Got a TI-83+ (yep, not an 84+, an 83+) back 3 years ago for school. I learned you could play games on it, so first I typed in a BASIC program of hundreds of lines to get it working with pong. That was the beginning.

For a while I did this until my little brother took the batteries out of my 83+, meaning my hard-earned slightly modded game was gone for good. While I never had a fancy USB plugin kit, I soon started a new quest: borrowing a friend's 84+. I did this and discovered the USB support and the great amount of space, as well as fancier spect. Never have bought one, despite the fact that they're only like $5 more than an 83+.

I found MirageOS and later DoorsCS, and started using them (archive everything folks). I found Pokemon Topaz, as well as ZTetris (killed at that game in math class, my scores were in the tens of thousands)

As for my own games, I've fiddled around with doing so before but have never had success beyond a simple program where you bounce a ball against a wall. One day I want to figure out how to use Axe. I figure that assembly is beyond arcane for somebody such as I (programming experience in C(++) and, before that, Pascal) so I'm not trying (yet).

Sorry to hear about the loss of your program. Normally the 83+ keeps programs intact even after removing the AAA batteries, but it depends how old the lithium battery is. I wish you good luck in programming and feel free to ask for help if you need any

Actually I liked yours although it looked more like he was swimming and not all frames fitted in the 24x24 box. Maybe you could keep it as avatar so that I won't confuse you with Princetontion.tibd (since you both got identical avatars now

). Also you need 5 posts to PM people (spam protection).
