Burst out laughing after I lost.
It's just so much of an original rip-off Flappy Bird.  :D

Will there be competitive high scores soon? :(
u/Dudeman313 April 13, 2016, 08:05:37 PM
Maybe. I gave up at 00:01:11.

I think Juju plans to add highscores in the future. Right now, I don't know how they are stored, though. Everytime I load a game page, the previous score is still intact, so I assume it's cookie-based right now?
u/Yuki April 19, 2016, 01:38:56 AM
Yes. Either LocalStorage or IndexedDB, to be precise, so high scores never leave your computer, but I do plan to install a way to upload them to a database.
u/Dream of Omnimaga April 19, 2016, 01:42:41 AM
I see. Interesting. But yeah, a db upload (as long as it's secure against SQL injection and highscore hacking) would be nice.
u/Dudeman313 April 19, 2016, 01:06:38 PM
We should add scoreboards to the arcade. That'd be cool.
u/Dream of Omnimaga April 19, 2016, 09:01:52 PM
Yeah, we could either have a page with them or maybe above/below the games list.
u/Dudeman313 April 19, 2016, 09:09:07 PM
Or individually, within the actual game?
u/Dream of Omnimaga April 19, 2016, 09:47:04 PM
Probably not inside the game, unless having external highscores is impossible without security problems.
u/Yuki April 19, 2016, 09:49:22 PM
Yeah, the hard thing is how to prevent fake scores. At least I can definitely disable guests.
u/Dream of Omnimaga April 19, 2016, 09:50:14 PM
Would guests still be able to play without submitting highscores?

Also do you think OMS could have a frame rate setting so users can switch between 30 and 60?

Yes.

Or better yet, make the score dependent on time and/or current framerate.
u/Dream of Omnimaga April 19, 2016, 11:41:39 PM
Well, it would suck if people who have a lower frame rate got lower game scores. :/ Kinda unfair, don't you think?
