This guy's doing a kickstarter to make an album of music that looks cool on an oscilloscope
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1230242223/oscilloscope-music
here's some examples:
I think it's really neat which is why I'm posting :P
The first one looked like a Metroid at first O.O
I like how the music sounds like, by the way. Also in the 2nd one I was shocked when they managed to display 3D cubes, even more so with many at once. :D
Awesome O.O.
You know what would be cool too? Make a laser projector play this O.O
Maybe it's just me but the videos in your post don't show up.
Probably just you
Huh they show up now. Oh wait facepalm, https.

That looks awesome O.O.
Also i build a small laser spirograph today, because i felt like doing it :3
What I am curious about is what kind of music one would get from converting a vector animation to a laser show. Or at least something like this laser show:

Ah yeah I heard of that guy in the OP, didn't knew he's doing a Kickstarter for an album.
EDIT: It's probably not recommended to listen to this with headphones on.
What about it? If you lower the volume, is it still unsafe or something?
I mean, when the oscilloscope guy begins to play with the left and right channels in the Kickstarter video, it's kinda weird.
Seems fine to me? I'd personally recommend that you avoid using anything but headphones to get the full effect

Aah right. Maybe he's trying to get binaural beats out of this too? Idk, I heard that actual binaural beats should only be listened to with headphones, though (else you won't get the effect) and avoided by pregnant women, as well as if you need to operate machinery or have epilepsy.
It's primarily a result of how the oscilloscope works. The left speaker/channel affects the X coordinate while the right speaker/channel affects the Y coordinate, so you get a cool sound from the two not being the same.
