So now that we have hit 5K, I am curious how long it will take to hit 10K.

(two of the forum-based websites I founded in the past took 6 months to hit 5K and the music board took about 12)

I had 30% (or even 40% in one case) of all posts on every board I started

. However after each board hitting 10K that percentage usually went down.

I doubt it, considering activity has slowed down considerably over here in the last two weeks. If things remain as they are right now, I would say we will be lucky to hit 1500 posts a month again in the near future. It could be exams, though, because all of our dutch users suddenly vanished or became much quieter.

Also Cumred glad you are sticking around. The average amount of time members stick around on CW seems to be 17 seconds

That probably differs per county or even per school. Last year we had 4 semesters. Now we only have 2...

Ah right. Over here it's 3-4 before college and 2 after college. In hi school I had 3, with the first lasting until holidays and the 2nd until Easter break. But again IIRC Easter in Europe is much later, right?

Easter is on the 5th and 6th of April this year IIRC. We switch semesters around Febuary (be it the first or second).
