Registrations have been enabled again, requiring manual administrator approval of the accounts. We checked to ensure that it is also the case for social network-based registrations as well and if that's not the case, then social login will be disabled until the first. People can now sign up fine, but we will not approve any new account until January 1st. An e-mail will be automatically sent when they are approved.

Due to some issues with OneAll Social Login that resulted into people being able to circumvent the admin approval mode when registering (and thus, getting forum access instantly), we have currently disabled registrations until we have confirmed that admin approval can still be used without any way it can be circumvented. That said, closed-beta is pretty much closed to registrations by now anyway so it probably doesn't matter at this point.
Whoever created an account that can be identified will not be put back into validating mode, though, and to make it fair to everyone, the person that signed up normally and awaits approval will be approved. So everyone except the unidentified account can still login and post as they see fit.
Domain name ownership was also transfered to Scipi, because of pimath's hiatus and potential issues with his parents.

UPDATED on September 18th 2017
#CodeWalrus IRC channel is available on the EFnet IRC network. EFnet is where most TI-related IRC channels (most notably, #Cemetech, #Omnimaga and Ticalc.org's channel #TI) are located, and a list of available servers is available at http://www.efnet.org/?module=servers . The IRC channel is +s (secret) right now, so it won't show up when regular IRC users type /list in their client, but you should be able to join with no problem using your favorite IRC client, IRCCloud or Mibbit. If a server doesn't work for you, try another from the list.
You can also chat from WalrusIRC directly above the forums if you have 5 posts and higher, or from our Discord server at https://discord.gg/cuZcfcF . Regardless of where you chat from, your messages will be automatically relayed between the IRC channel and the site shoutbox.
#CodeWalrus shall be a place to hang out for CodeWalrus forum members. We recommend that people who need calculator, programming or other kind of technical help use the forum, though, in case their query gets missed. More people will benefit that way, since it won't get lost in the logs.
In addition to #CodeWalrus, there are other CW IRC channels, also on EFnet and Discord:
#cw-anime: While our main channel allows anime discussion, it's recommended to use this smaller channel instead when #CodeWalrus is busy with programming discussion.
#cw-craft: CW Minecraft server IRC channel. You can chat with people in-game there or vice-versa.
#cw-spam: Bot-testing channel. This is *not* a flooding channel.
#texttospeech-discord-only: Moonbase alpha style trolling. Use /tts command for text to speech. This channel is only on Discord.
#safe-haven: Discord-only channel for real-time private matters discussion
#staff: Discord-only channel that is only available to CodeWalrus staff.
A voice chat is also available on Discord.

Starting Monday, this is when, in the calculator community, you will start seeing signs that CodeWalrus exists. Since this week began, some of our staff members have started using the tagline "Remember the day the walrus started to fly..." in their forum signatures on other forums and my Bandcamp music store was redesigned to fit the site theme. On December 1st 2014, as forum avatars, it's Walrii that you will start seeing appear:
On December 7th, it's this signature that will start appearing publicly (on that day, we could almost talk of "Black Sunday" because of the story behind CodeWalr.us and by then, it will probably become clear to some people that something's up):
Remember, the 24th of October...
Then on December 13th, the following avatar and signature, where the banner will start leading to the actual splash screen URL, http://codewalr.us/ , will replace the above:
By December 19th, people will probably have already figured out, but this is around when we will blatantly start saying that a new calculator forum has been running since October, but that it's invite-only until New Year 2015. The splash screen will be gone and the site domain name will lead to the forums directly (although still not open to public).
Around December 24th, the following signature will start being used instead, fully unveiling what the site is about:
Then on January 1st 2015, in the form of a programming group (for now), a new era will begin...

EDIT (by DJ): If you can see this message, this means that you are one of the few members who have been granted access to this website, or you are reading this late and the site already opened before you did so.
CodeWalrus (http://codewalr.us/), which was founded on October 25th 2014 under the TI-Walrus project name, is a group of game programmers for mobile devices such as TI calculators, hosting a discussion forum dedicated to game programming for mobile platforms ranging from TI/Casio/HP calculators to smartphones, but we also cover computer programming, as well as the art topics related to it (drawing, pixel art, music, animation, etc). Once the website will be finished setting up, we will start inviting our TI, Casio and HP community friends who were interested in joining, one by one, then slowly give indication about the existence of this website. While, for the time being, it is meant to remain a programming team, it might attempt to fill empty gaps in the calculator community if the need arises. If things goes well, the official opening shall be on New Year 2015.
The site is ran on a shoestring budget, though, so while we are open to new features additions, server resources are limited compared to other calculator websites, meaning that we try to keep usage of them to a minimum. The only form of donations we currently accept is by purchasing DJ Omnimaga's music at http://djomnimaga.bandcamp.com (which will be come the official site store in December).
New Year, new beginning, new adventure, where walruses will fly...
If you find any bugs and issues on the website, feel free to report them in the site feedback section of the forums!
