Title: MBTI types
Post by: pimathbrainiac on March 10, 2015, 07:14:35 PM
So I had to take this test (http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp) in AP Pysch as an activity, aaaaannnddddd my last two things changed since I took it last time.
INFJ:
Introvert (67%), iNtuitive (25%), Feeling (25%), Judging (1%)

Which puts me in 2% of the total population, according to this site (http://www.typefinder.com/personality-type/INFJ).
Yay minorities..................

Anyways I can't say that this is inaccurate now. My last two flipped, and the third one is less borderline than it was. If you read the summaries it's actually pretty accurate for when I'm not around a bunch of IRL people and act out-of character to fit in.

So anyways, I say we retake this test and stuff, and see how we've changed, or just take it for the first time.

Funnily enough, I thought of this topic when I checked the results of the TI contest thing because most people scored INTJ on Omnimaga last year. I was even considering starting it earlier XD

Anyway as a cross-post from my 2013 post on Omni, I got ESTJ. I guess I'm in the minority for calc sites. :P

Extravert(22%)  Sensing(12%)  Thinking(25%)  Judging(1%)

I remember being much more introvert around 2009-2010 due to life issues, though.

This means you can troll in real life? O.O

Just kidding, most community members tend to be more introvert, but your extravert level seems on-par with Juju IIRC. I tend to not go towards new people much but if they go towards me or if I am with friends I tend to socialize more than anything else. :P

Extravert(33%)  iNtuitive(12%)  Feeling(25%)  Perceiving(67%)

ENFP, it seems. It changed a little since 2013... (Extravert(44%)  iNtuitive(25%)  Thinking(1%)  Perceiving(33%))

And of course, if past me took the test it would be wildly different I think. Or not. I dunno.

Juju It might be because you used to hang out much more often before money became a problem (eg being barely able to afford bus tickets during Summer, let alone go out at places), plus you are busier with school now it seems.

I ended up with INTP (I(78%)  N(38%)  T(62%)  P(56%)). It seems I am part of only 3% of the population. Woo! :D

Funny how those personality types are like 3% of the population, yet on calc forums it's the complete opposite. :P

I am curious about how the distribution would be on a gaming forum, although I assume that it would vary from console to console and depending of what game.

Actually I am a bit surprised you are this much introvert based on the test, because you still hang out and party with friends from time to time. I would have guessed something more like 40%, if not a bit less. But again maybe there are many other variables causing the test to increase the introvert ratio? I know myself I tend to not go towards people as much, which can be a big factor.

I took the test a few years ago and scored 100% intravert. I'm pretty sure that if I took it now I'd be only 80%.

if depends for me, if i think the person is nice, but i think the judging factor comes in to play with that :P

Yeah same and I usually go towards them more if they go towards me first. If a new employee at work arrive and I say hi but it takes everything for him to respond then I tend to not pay attention to him afterward

Also I jist noticed my previous reply was my 3000th post O.O

Ok
What I meant was
Explain what this means ;-;
Like wot is introvert?

Introvert is being more reserved to yourself/less social. I don't know for sensing, I think feeling is being emotional, and perceiving means you notice things easily.

I know I'm few months late, but just to chime in, I'm INTP.

For other INTPs, this article might be pretty insightful, or it might not help at all :P It's a pretty interesting article to read regardless.

I got into the whole MBTI few years ago and I find it pretty cool to read about it, and make my friends take the test.
