when reading Animal farm, you shoud at least at the beginning try not to see it too much as a political novel. Think of it more as of a child's story or something :)
Can recomend it, 7.5/10 :)

>Not SciFi though :P

that's why the topic was calles (SciFi) to begin with ;D
This was actually ment as a general topic about great books, but I wanted te prevent love stories and stuff from flooding in by adding the (SciFi)  xD (Except for Wall-e of cause which is just the cing BEST lovestory of all time!!)

I need to get a copy of 1984 at some point. I had totally forgotten about that one. Also I didn't know there were multiple books in the Ender's Game series. That said, if they are more philosophical then maybe I won't like them as much.

1984 and Brave New World were weird books imo
My school has them as required reading next year, that should be fun. I think I've read half of all the high school required reading books already :P

Whats funny is that Enders game is Sophomore reading. I read the book a year or so before, but my English teacher went into such depth it was like i hadn't read the book at all the first time.

Erm @p2 is that book public domain or if it's some copyrighted book sharing site? ???
u/Yuki November 23, 2016, 06:11:53 AM
All of those books seem to be public domain and/or out of copyright, depending of your country.

boow was written in 1948 (and then alled 1984)... so the copyright should be gone already I think ^^
If it was a pirated book I would have used a rolling RRRrrrrr somewhere in the post, like "Herrrrrrre's your book" ;)

Been a while I've read a good book, and I'm more a fan of fantasy anyway, but I can't wait after "Dans une Galaxie prés de chez vous" (In a galaxy near you), a sci-fi/comedy comic book by Claude Legault, Pierre-Yves Bernard and Julien Paré-Sorel slated for release in 2017 based on the hugely popular TV series and movies of the same name. It's in French of course, but it's gonna be good :3

YES

As I heard, the comic book is indefinitely postponed, but they just started writing the third movie. It's definitely gonna be good.
