Dream of Omnimaga

I made a TI-Story page about CW and updated my author page earlier today, now that I am able to edit stuff again there:

http://tistory.wikidot.com/codewalrus

I also edited the Omnimaga page because the staff list was outdated.

I don't know if anything is missing, but if you can edit stuff there and want to add more or fix stuff, then feel free to do so.

Of course, for programs and group contributions, we gotta release stuff first, though. ;)

Hehe, we don't really have a lot of stuff to say since we started the site since something like a month, although you can write an entire essay about our motives...

Yeah I pretty much summed it up. For example, how the site got founded and what it evolved into. I also added a copy of the About page in the misc section.

Let's donate an HP Prime to Street so he can write his bootloader (or rootkit as Vogtinator would say) :walrii:

With my recent endeavors hacking arm devices I'm pretty confident about this. :P I just need the hardware.

Dream of Omnimaga

Indeed. That said you could sell one of your 15 tablets and phones then use the money to get a prime. :P

I don't have one (and don't wanna get under 500m close to any due to risks of explosion ).

On a less joking note, do you remember this? https://www.omnimaga.org/other-calculator-discussion-and-news/battery-in-my-calc-exploded/

This also happened somewhere in late 2010 or early 2011 to a TI-BANK v1 user

That said, Ndless for OS 1.1 caused issues with power management on some Clickpad models. In my case, with brand new alkaline batteries, gbc4nspire would drain them in 10 minutes. O.O

Oh wow, so it really happened. O.O
Also that issue reminds me of the 83+SE battery problems.

Dream of Omnimaga

Well at least with the 83+SE I didn't hear about an explosion thing. Also I think only myself got the battery problem and it involved the batteries getting drained even when the calculator was turned off, as much as if an ASM program was left running overnight. The most common 83+SE failure was the LCD (becoming garbled after 3 years of use with no way to fix it)

EDIT: Back on topic: On the TI-Story page, I added our first milestone about how we managed to hit 1666 posts only 30 days after birth. It isn't that big of a milestone, but it's very rare that a brand new calculator forum gets close to 1000 this early.

I had the same issue with mine (batteries draining faster than light) before I killed it :P
