Ok so if you haven't checked ticalc.org yet, the 2014 Program of the Year (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/148/148719.html) award has begun! Obviously, the first poll is for the TI-83+/84+ category, and assuming POTY works the same way as previous years, the survey will probably run for 1 week. Then the TI-84+CSE category will follow, then the TI-Nspire.
Anyway, here are the TI-83+/84+ programs participating this year:
Axio Man! http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/148/148705.html
Flappy Bird http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/148/148558.html

You need a ticalc.org account to vote and you don't have much time to do so, so make sure to vote for your favorite program ASAP! :)
inb4 ticalc comments asking how to vote
Ooh, that's an interesting list. Hard to choose. I checked em out, and I think my vote's going to that pokemon battle engine thing. Woah, it looks amazing and I also tried it on emu, and it's really just right :fD
Don't have a ticalc account. :P Time to make one hasn't come yet. :walrii:
Same as me. One day maybe...
Wait you two don't have ticalc accounts? O.O ( although that was my case in late 2011-12 too)
I guess that makes sense since they lack forums, though, and you haven't released TI stuff yet.
Oh I see you overlook my Snake and Furious Pong! :p
Oh wait I remember those now, especially the Furious Pong game. O.O I guess I forgot because it was never uploaded on ticalc.org (and IIRC not even Omnimaga archives). <_<
The TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition poll is now up! :D
Dino Puzzle http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/148/148548.html
Flappy Bird Color http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/148/148558.html
Flippy Bard Color: A Punnage http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/148/148558.html
JezzBall http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/148/148548.html
Puzzle Frenzy http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/148/148709.html
Solitaire: Klondike and Freecell http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/148/148710.html
Spaze Invaders http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/148/148708.html
O.O Two flappy bird clones !
Indeed. :P 4 got featured at once too. Those are even by the same author, although the second one is just a mod of the first.
Oh yeah, they're Kerm's, right ?
Indeed. I think JezzBall is from 2013, though, but got missed until 2014.
JezzBall has my vote.
Same. I spent most time playing that game this year. Space invaders almost got my vote too.
Nspire voting is up!
Call of CX
Crafti - 3D Minecraft
Flappy Bird
nKaruga
nQuake
SimCitx
My vote went to nKaruga
Wow I didn't know nKaruga was featured and on ticalc. That makes things even harder to choose, now >.<
Although I like nKaruga a lot and that Quake on a calculator is an impressive achievement, my vote will have to go to Crafti, because it's as close to Minecraft as you can get on a calculator, yet it still runs at very decent speed considering it has textures and full Minecraft-style sandbox abilities. The others, especially nKaruga, are very nice as well IMHO.
OK so it's 2005 all over again: One of the POTY poll is tied! This time it's the 84+CSE poll with Solitaire and JezzBall. So now you got to vote again :P

Dammit, one more week before results :P
Indeed, but it could be worse, since they were often posted in late January or February before the 2009 staff changes. And of course I voted JezzBall again. :P
Same with the JezzBall thing. I will say good job to DrDnar and Kerm for tying, though.
Also, seeing ticalc.org and the community traffic drop during holidays for a while (probably due to Cemetech contest keeping people busy and finals, because they had a lot of quality entries), I hope that the 84+CSE results were not 1 vote for JezzBall, 1 vote for Solitaire and 0 for everything else <_<

Thankfully, it's not quite that bad yet. :D Though it is a shame to see the number of votes in surveys declining over the years.
Indeed. What I notice is that most ticalc users nowadays only downloads stuff and won't sign up. D:
