I think the biggest problem the web-dev area has currently is that it is changing too fast, so if you learn something new now you know that it will be already obsolete next year.

Or are you talking about the PC? That case is empty, i think. Maybe it has a mobo in it, not sure.

Note: Just read the spoiler, it's not spoilering
I haven't watched starwars in 4 or 5 years, so I probably haven't seen the movies this one is supposed to play in in between as well :ninja:

the movies between which it takes place is the one released in 1977 and the one released in 2005. So you have likely seen them both.

So there was this little thing on IRC
Quote23:50 <+l|> <p4nix> Programming is like hell
23:50 <+l|> <p4nix> Sounds cool
23:50 <Sorunome> yes, only worse
23:51 <+l|> <p4nix> But actually, its hard
23:51 <Sorunome> because in hell you have all the time you want
23:51 <Sorunome> with programming you have time limits
23:51 <+l|> <p4nix> Soru
23:51 <+l|> <p4nix> Dont let pressure last on you
23:51 <+I|> <DarkestEx> git pushed :)
23:51 <+I|> <DarkestEx> and synced
23:51 <Sorunome> that is why i enjoy programming, i secretly torture myself all the time
23:51 <+l|> <p4nix> You are still young
23:51 <+l|> <p4nix> Bdsm ftw

So, what got you into programming and why do you enjoy it? ^.^

For me personally I was already fastinated way back with the programming stuff my brother could do, so naturally I had to try out once we got the TI-84+ in school. Because, well, it gave an easy opportunity to start. Prior to that I already did some simple HTML/CSS things, but, well, that's not programming ;)
Anyhow, I somehow sticked to programming, kept on making new stuff.

So, what do I enjoy about it these days? It's the awesome puzzle-solving, trying to think of flexible solutions for your problems. Solutions that would also work in other cases that the original issue didn't have but might help in the future, such things are just awesomely fun. Then there is also the joy of creating something other people use / find useful / entertaining, so there is no holding back for me in terms of programming :D

Strip will remove debugging symbols (gcc includes some by default even when you don't compile with -g). What you want is not removing symbols but actual sections. I don't really know how to do that but a possible approach would be to replace the beginning of the main function with a jump to another function that you would add.
We just talked about this on IRC a bit, DarkestEx is using 32-bit embedded ARM.

Those things have at the beginning a vectortable where the first 4-byte entry is the address to load into pc upon startup, so he could modify that.

todo for me:
creating a script for better graphical representation of the post count of certain users (top posters) including future prediction as well.
Maybe in Java, idk yet ^^ (AutoIt's graphic libs seriously suck, so it's either gonna be first swift project or second java project)
Just write it in PHP + GD so that you can make like userstats.php?id=1337 or so and it'll output an image :P

Don't add Switch carts to your diet.
"According to an early '90s U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission report, as spotted by Polygon, Denatonium Benzoate is an aversive agent that has been used in animal repellents, nail biting deterrents, and as flavoring in placebo medicine."
So that is why those taste horrible

Yeah at first I was worried he would do this if companies refused to produce their goods in USA. I doubt he would, though, especially for American companies. Most people would just buy their stuff online anyway.
He'd had to ban his own companies, then

I am absolutely fine with the idea of Tau, however I think some people (not you) are taking this too far.
Like e.g. adding it to Python or fighting on YouTube about it.
How is adding a useful constant to a widely used programming language "taking this too far" ???

I would find it soooo funny to watch this.

>Trump bans super popular project in the USA, because it is produced elsewhere
>Extreme outburst
>Mass-demonstrations
>Trump is forced to resign
>???
>Profit
