Ticalc.org just launched its first survey for the 2016 Program of the Year award. Since
@JWinslow23 won the 83+/84+ POTY by default (there was only 1 program for that calc this year), the first poll is for the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition, with four programs competing:
Checkers 84+ CSE http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/455/45557.html
Connect 4 http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/452/45279.html
Graph3DC http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/466/46641.html
Pong with Sound http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/467/46770.html
I already have made my mind up I think for the CSE vote, but I still need to try 1 program before my final decision is taken. I encourage everyone to vote now (only 1 week left). If you don't have a ticalc.org account then you should make one, since it's the main TI community site. :)
It makes me really sad to see votings with that few participants :-\
Anyways congrat to
@JWinslow23 and the others :)
If only more people programmed on the 84+. Then the POTY poll would have been more exciting :P .
I appreciate the POTY win, even if only by default. Nice to see that This Is The Only Level 84+ will get some more recognition (especially since, in the background, I'm trying to revive my port to the CE, so look out for another update soon-ish ;) ).
Good luck to the CSE participants!
I myself only worked on the 83+/84+ so far (have other calcs too but dont really use them) but I dont have the time to start any new projects there right now... :(
But I guess once the WalrusKingdom is done, I might try do some 84+ game again :)

Nice! Are you a TI-BASIC, Axe, or Asm programmer? I'm not familiar with your projects.
I WAS an axe programmer (forgot most of it as I havent used it for years). Also you never saw any of my projects as the backups got lost and I never published them... ._.
84+ calcs dropped in popularity because of the two color calcs. The same thing happened to the TI-83 when the TI-83+ came out. The fact new European 84+ calcs no longer support Axe, ASM, Grammer and libs doesn't help either.
That said I had one or two monochrome project ideas for next year if I have motivation and am not too side-tracked :3=
Guys, TI-84 Plus CE and TI-83 Premium CE voting is now underway! There are 12 entries this year to choose from:

By the way, now that the CSE and CE polls are over, I think we can share what we voted for without worrying about influencing people's votes, so here is what I voted for for the CSE and CE POTY surveys respectively: Graph3DC and ICE Compiler.
