CodeWalrus have been short on staff for several months now. While three regularly active staff members are generally enough to keep up with our average activity of 50 posts per day, this proves to be quite problematic when it comes to site management during periods where one or more staff are busier with life duties, during busier periods in the community and during political matters. In the end, this results into delays in everything, such as the Summer newsletter, which was supposed to be out by October 1st, and choosing new staff.
Today we are proud to announce that
@Cumred_Snektron and
@Ivoah have joined CodeWalrus Staff, with possible extra future additions to the team in the near future! In addition to their new topic management privileges (move, edit, clone, split, merge, news approval), they will now be able to help the team taking future decisions about other site matters. Our goal remains to provide a friendly atmosphere to discuss about calculators, mobile platform and computer programming, pixel art, music and other creative topics surrounding old-school video gaming, while allowing members to have fun and share their other interests equally. Weird, I would have expected things to be the other way around. Is it because they get banned?
Yeah that's why I never play on public servers, it's more fun with a couple of friends. Especially with voip. I haven't played MC in forever though but I apply this to every game. I either play solo or with friends, no MMOs or anything.
But we're drifting off-topic. :P

Na, its mostly because most of the huge servers have sooooo many people on that no one can usually even get the attention of a mod, if there even is one on in your server. Or maybe its because I never play survival, only minigames :P
Ok but then wouldn't that mean the chat gets spammed more with n00bish comments? Or maybe it's like on large IRC channels where most people are muted by default or MMO game servers where their line of text only appears if you're nearby.
