Well i have been disqualified from this compettion on the possibility of offending @MateoConLechuga so I thought i would present the 'game win' audio here it is..

Nice one dude, thanks :)

Also I have worked out that the weather mode can affect the gameplay quite dramatically

*Edit-*
just an update to show my progress so far... i have only done the front end so far :)

now i have to start adding 3d meshes and some physics  :(

*Edit-*
another update just to show you a technique i learnt from a friend call Chip Grid. an image is attached (below).
basically this is a very efficient technique for breaking up stuff into bits
the attached image shows my debug output - the final version of the smashed up tile will have curved edges etc to make it look more lifelike.

Just thought i would post an update as due to time restrictions i will not be able to finish the game in the manner I desired.

Instead of a basic (ie. advanced)  physics/collision system, due to the time restraint and my limited knowledge, instead, blocks will explode and vanish when dropped. i should have time to implement a particle system (for the dust) and still to create the weather effects I wanted.
