Still hasn't arrived home D:. They said March 24th - April 10th, though. Hopefully they arrive way before April 10th. America->Canada shipping can be extremely slow compared to America->Rest of the world sometimes. >.<

However, I made a new signature userbar

Once the CD arrives I'm still unsure if I'll use the Bandcamp CD purchase service, though. While it allows me to use Kunaki and use a disclaimer to warn buyers that their address will be shared with Kunaki for CD manufacturing/shipping, my concern is about having to manually track shipping costs worldwide in real-time to ensure that I charge the right amount on Bandcamp. I would rather just provide a link to Kunaki itself, which automatically calculates shipping.

That makes me wonder if USA->Mexico takes even longer ^^

how big would the changes for the users be if u did that? :)

Yeah, well, the sporadically long shipping times from USA to Canada have been an issue since at least 2009. From personal experience, this is how long I have to wait to get something shipped in Canada:

-From Europe: 1-2 weeks
-From China: 2-3 weeks
-From Australia: 2-3 weeks
-From Canada: 1 week
-From USA: 2-4 weeks

Not only that, but USA, France and UK shipping to Canada is usually much more expensive than from anywhere else (although UK shipping to Canada used to be incredibly cheap. I once bought Music 2002 for the PC for $3.50 on Ebay from an UK seller and he charged me $1.50 for shipping.

As for the changes for the users if I did what I mentioned in my previous post, the physical CD purchase from Bandcamp would not be as direct. Rather than buying them straight from Bandcamp, they would be redirected to a different store (Kunaki).

Glad it arrived at your home safely @Juju . Sadly, I can't say the same about my copies of EJTTG, JTTMDS, AITS and ETDW... it has now been 6 weeks and the parcel has never reached my destination, and no working tracking number is available. The first parcel took 1 month to arrive but I fear the second one (which was ordered first) might have been lost in the mail. D:

I contacted Kunaki to see if anything can be done, but when my CD goes on sale publicly, make sure to NOT choose "Economy mail" because it has no tracking and takes forever. Air mail doesn't either, but it's much faster (2 weeks for Illegal Music Chemistry).

Good news!

Canada Post has located my second package and it arrived today. The reason for the delay appears to have been that they found the packaging enveloppe damaged, as my parcel arrived inside an extra shrinkwrap with an apology notice. The good news, however, is that the actual content of the package is safe and all four CDs are working perfectly. There are a few minor cracks in the jewel cases but this happens at every single brick and mortar or online music store I've been to (especially Amazon) and I bet it's due to shipping most of the time, so I'm ok with that (I have several spare jewel cases in case I ever decide to sell those copies of my album). The case inserts and the discs are 100% mint condition and they look beautiful.

I'm gonna post pics later

glad to hear the CDs are fine, especially since they took forever to ship x.x

Btw, Angel in the stars was the jewel case that had more damage but I just swapped the front cover so it's like new. I already re-uploaded EJTTG and AKOOSE yesterday to address the cropped text issues (and the missing track list text on the Kunaki shop for AKOOSE).

I will probably make the link public soon when I get time and I also need to take better pics because I would like to make a pic show up in my Bandcamp banner that leads directly to Kunaki

Perhaps even add to the forum sig banner, add another section, perhaps on the side, that goes through all of the different CD's you have.
