I got Ableton Live for Chirstmas. Now I'm messing around with it. Here's a thing: https://soundcloud.com/pimathbrainiac/stepdedub-2

I assume that the college deadline means you will no longer have time to make music afterwards? Or is the song intended as a school project?

I will have time. The deadline is to send in pieces for applications.

I like the additions Pimath :)

Thanks DJ! I'm in the middle of the final tweaks before orchestration. I have 9 days left until I have to have this done (read: I'm applying to colleges, and December 1st is the deadline).

hey @pimathbrainiac, I know this is a lot to ask about, but would you be willing to create some nice piano music for my walrus game? I really love your last song  O.O
*everything for free, no ingame realmoney stuff, opensource, lots of people in the credits, lots of walruses in it ^^
I'd need just some chilling piano background music fitting to a sunny summer day (rather slow but not that dark) ^^
It should fit to that atmosphere: http://codewalr.us/1602/47602
it'd be really great if you could help me with this :) But of cause i'd also understand if you dont have the time/motivation for it ^^

PM me your requirements (how many tracks, different types, track length, do they loop, etc.). It's not required, but if you can give me a small donation for this, that would be great as well (read: pimath is broke, and if you can spare it, I'd like to be paid, but it's not necessary).

Thanks DJ! I'm making a few edits before I score it out. I'll keep you posted.

Site Discussion & Bug Reports / Re: CodeWalrus Ads
November 07, 2016, 03:31:12 PM
So my bid expired and I don't have money at the time to put it up again. Because my bid was always inflating the price, the lower quality ads mostly didn't make it through. As a result of my bid expiring (I had a monetary cap placed on it), the price dropped, and now we're getting a flood of these new ads. C'est la vie, I guess.

An outline for a piece I have yet to fully orchestrate (read: piano version of a piece that will eventually not be for piano)

Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback!

Ad submitted. Let's hope it gets approved :P

So here's a playlist with the completed version of the song (which will eventually be the 4th track) and an opening track (that gets a reprise in the new track)

For most of the instruments, I'm using Kontakt 5 player and a free sound pack called "Format Factory." The acoustic piano is the VST that comes with the full version of Finale.

Thanks for the feedback! The volume with the VSTs I'm using is particularly tricky, but I'll see what I can do.

Thanks! Glad you liked them!

Anyways I'm working on another instrumental rock piece atm. Take a listen: https://soundcloud.com/pimathbrainiac/untitled1-rev-2/s-pem2u

EDIT: That's not the final ending. The piece isn't done yet :P

Quote from: pimathbrainiacI regret to inform you that my VPS is going to be shutdown for the foreseeable future due to money issues. This means that CEmu will not have nightly builds hosted by me until I can maintain $20/month specifically for the VPS. Thank you.
I'd be happy to take it over here on Cemetech if that's desired. Let me know.
The TI-Planet server could probably be an alternative as well, however:
Travis and/or OBS can be used for deployments, as it's been done for some repos already, so it would be better if it's directly integrated within GitHub.
Alberthro and I (and Vogtinator for Firebird) are looking into that.

Quote from: pimathbrainiacI'm going to put the server back online for a few minutes so I can make a backup. So long as you guys are running linux on your servers (because I was using mxe as the environment, which requires linux :P), I don't mind giving both of you the relevant portions of the backup.
