Title: Trying out drum and bass
Post by: unknownloner on February 24, 2016, 05:42:21 AM
Wow, it's been awhile since I've posted anything  :-\. Truth be told it's also been awhile since I've had anything worth posting! I'm trying to get back to creating stuff though, taking another stab at music specifically.

Long story short I'm trying to learn how to make drum and bass for a school project, and I'd love some feedback on what I've got so far (especially if DnB is your thing). It's kinda on the chill side.

It's just a small clip as I was only working on it a few hours tonight, but yeah lemme know what you think.

But... but... there were many cool projects to comment on lately, including ones with walruses D:

Kidding aside, nice to see you again :). I just noticed via Twitter that you now make music, which I went to check. I only got time to listen to one track, though (K-EXT). I now listened to Kdnb and liked it more since it has the same speed as Dnb. Anyway I just listened to your latest songs too and like them so far. While simple (which is very normal if you just started out), I like how your DnB is melodical. Mixed Water 2 is my favorite :3= (EDIT: Holy hell I missed this track, which is epic and is actually my favorite now *.* https://soundcloud.com/unknownloner/merge-the-original-with-the-weird-effects )

By the way, although I normally don't listen to DnB much nowadays, I used to be a lot into it back in the days because I used to run a MTV Music Generator forum that was mostly populated by people from United Kingdom, who happened to be a lot into DnB too.

Yeah I really like the one you linked too. Unfortunately I think I lost the project in a computer derp, but I uploaded enough versions that I might be able to recreate it :P

Do you still have the effects and instruments you used? A remake would be cool, but of course remaking something you worked hard on from scratch is boring >.< so I could understand if you didn't do it.
