The difference is that it has WALRII's ^.^
Which instantly makes it 20% cooler. :P

I like the result, so far. Also interesting that Walrii grows in size in this game :P
Thank you. Also, I had to have it do SOMETHING. :P

Nice! I like the power up ;). When will you have batteries for your calc ???
I have batteries and it is functioning. However, the calc version is on indefinite hold. When the contest/game finishes, I may resume it if demand is big enough.

Oh my, a flappy game. You are evil. Nice job at any rate. :)

Well it definitely doesn't look as hard as flappy bird :P

Yeah indeed, but it does look fairly similar. :P

Oh shut up everyone :P It wasn't meant to be a Flappy clone, just an endless flier. There's differences. The real inspiration was Zombie Tsunami, oddly enough, even thought the two games have nothing to do with each other. Please don't reduce my originality score for this :P

Lol it's fine, we are just kidding around. :)

At least it's not a guessing game :P

Good luck!

The contest deadline is in two weeks, so I'm finishing up my game. I'm adding some actual graphics for numbers instead of the default Scratch variable display, and as well, I'll add a title screen and a proper ending screen. I'll basically add all the goodies that make it polished come the next few days.

Here is my game as it stands right now:

I like it :D

The big walrus is still in the game, right?

Yes, I just wasn't lucky enough to get a calculator powerup. (by the way, this gives you 50 points upon collecting it as well! :D)

Do you think that a random structure generator like that would be fine? Or should I give you more fish? Or less mines? I could also change the distance between everything if that helps, because I don't want people raging over my game and throwing their computers out of their windows :P

Dream of Omnimaga

I would say maybe have a bit less mines at the beginning, but have them appear more frequently near the end.

There is no end...what are you talking about?
Difficulty should build up over time.

You should also add more obstacles as the game goes on, so that it becomes harder in two ways. At least thats what I do in my entry.

I could make the speed of the scroll faster if necessary.
Yeah that's what I meant. Or you could make spikes appear less frequently at the beginning and more frequently near the end.

Or you could make later spikes move up and down

That's a great idea, there should be multiple types of obstacles.
