Am looking at pulling a studio mix together on this, although have been recording a few too many errors so far lol..... maybe the studio edit will the factor it needs..... (DJ Omnimaga - lol)

Anywhere here is a photo I just took....

*EDIT*
The mix is actually better than I thought.... beefing it up with some chorus and some reverb too on my multitrack recorder..... just need to re-recoprd the first part of the mix and get a decent version of that down.... might be ready for upload to Youtube today sometime .... will keep you all posted in here and in the chat. Woot

I agree with what gameblabla says, that sort of thing technically can result in 'undefined behaviour', meaning technically your hard drive could get wiped. gameblabla is gay.

Not sure if the PICO-8 technically counts as a "console".............

........I'm developing a game for the PICO-8, a video game console that does not actually exist.

Quoted for truth, and, bookmarked.

I'm not sure about assembler, but in C and C++ memory leaks are caused by using the calloc/malloc routines (in C) or the new operator (in C++) without using corresponding calls to free (in C) or delete (in C++).

Do it Omnimaga!! Take on the rave!!!!! Woo!!  :D

Hardware / Re: How to make a wire from scratch

I'm planning to make a wire from scratch and all the materials for it from scratch. How do I do this? I don't want to pay for things anymore.

Don't make a wire, make a Brohr (pronounced 'Braw') terminator. This can be any conductive metal, as wire up to diameter 0.3mm, how is it diffferent from an ordinary wire? You can turn it into a diode by remote control (this process only goes from wire to diode and cannot be undone after activation).

Here's the ouch - you will have to split 3 electrons in the wire at specific locations, but orbiting separate atoms of your metal. You have to split them not into 3 pieces of electron each (which humans currently do with lasers) but millions. Then you have to  ***** ****** ***** ***** OH JUST MAKE A F***ING WIRE

This was a UK originated post I mean it wasn't  (-_(//));

Hardware / Resistor with 2 lines only
January 23, 2019, 07:05:56 PM
hey circuit guys and gals.

i am trying to fix a old (v1) master system and it has a resistor busted away from the pcb, however the resistor only has two stripes - black and red. i read how a single line resistor means it is just wire (used so robots can solder it in) but cant find anything about ones with two lines. is it the same ie. just a piece of wire???

ok thanks

Code (node.js, 346 chars) Select

[..." sos"].map(c=>{p="  etianmsurwdkgohvfüläpjbxcyzqö 54\x063é  2&è+  à 16=/ ç\2( 7  ñ8 90     \4      ?_    \"  .    @   '  -        ;! )     ,    :".search(c)

m+=p>0?s:s+s},m=i="");(w=new(require('wemo-client'))()).discover((e,d)=>{setInterval(_=>w.client(d).setBinaryState(+m[i++%m.length]),500)})

Probably the weirdest constant to ever appear in a program, guess what it does.

[spoiler=the answer]
Get one of these things, plug a lamp in and it does morse code with the correct timing.

What a hideous bastard of a piece of code. I would definitely sack the person who wrote it.

PC, Mac & Vintage Computers / Custom Bitmap Format
November 16, 2018, 08:46:55 AM
Hi all. Am thinking of creating a custom bitmap format due to awkwardness I am experiencing with a lib (glaux.lib) which has been deprecated.

What would anyone else add to a custom bitmap format?

Not RLE. Possibly encryption. What else??

>:D

*edit - one idea - strangely ordered scanlines

2 classic quotes...

(Kinda hard to explain, but yeah, if you read the code it's probably simple enough to figure it out.)

  Or at least, a framework for multi-threading in C in a webpage.

                 where is the hello.wasm ???

                 the fact that it is missing makes the entire operating system become deprecated by juice.exe and you are now not allowed to wear tops.

                 just like aerie

                 eat yourself juju
