Hello everyone. We, at Planète-Casio, are gathering samples to detect changes between msicallenous details like OS version (on which model), the dates and are trying to make links with architecture and OS.
Here's the addin to install : http://www.planet-casio.com/files/forums/ID-13413.G1A. it'll give you the Product ID of your calculator.
We're asking too for the calc model (Graph 35, 75, 85 or 95, or worldwide equivalents), the OS flashed to it and the calc's model where the flash OS has been copied, the DateA and DateO found in the diagnostic menu. Here's the walthrough :
Boot your calc while pressing EXP (or x10x), OPTN and AC/ON, a popup should appear. Prees F1 then 9 (your data won't[/it] be erased), then press 4 (VERSION), you'll find two Dates and your OS version.
Thanks for your participation.
Interesting. I think someone on Cemetech did something like that for the PRIZM, but without an add-in. Do we need to provide the OS number originally installed on the calc when we got it? I might have forgotten which one I originally had.
We don't need it.
Model: FX-9860G (the one with no backlight)
ID: qWXZBI2i
DateO: 2009.0323.0933
DateA: 2007.1122.1619
CPU: SH3
OS: 02.00.0300
However, I am unable to access the diagnostic menu. When I try the [OPTN] [x10^x] et [AC/ON] when the calc is turned OFF (assuming x10^x is the ^ key, because there's no x10^x key on my calc), it does nothing at all. EDIT Nvm I was reading the Planète-Casio post and missed the part in your post explaining that the key is also EXP.
No backlight by is there a SD slot?
Neither. It's a classic FX-9860G.

IIRC It even came out with OS 1.00. I'm unsure anymore but I know it was 1.0x or something. It was an OS from back in the FX-9860 Slim days.
I think it's a Graph85 so. Thanks for the infos. Your ID broken some too fast conjectures we had about the ID and the processor architecture.
Glad it could help :), and yeah it's a 85
aeTIos: edited possible spelling mistake
Seems like aeTIos edited my post for possible spelling mistake :P
Anyway Eiyeron have the people from PC started investigating on my calc?
Don't know DJ O, I just copied what you said. It must be in the list now.
It wasn't yet so I added it now. I'm unsure if I need to put the French model name or the original one, though, so I put FX-9860G for now. If the calc is identical to the Graph 85 then feel free to change it.
Target still has plenty of FX-9750GII calcs at $50, although I think they are FX-9750GII-WE or BK models. I might snatch one during the store closing liquidation if they have good deals.
As long as they can use the 2.00 OS, you will be fine with it. BUt why buying these calcs if you're not going to program on them?
For the sake of collectible. I only have 28 calcs. Kerm and BrandonW have 100 each :P
Besides I would then have a SH4 calc so I can finally play SH4 exclusives.
Here's my new calc:
Model: FX-9750GII (non-hacked for now)
CPU: SH4, according to Eiyeron
OS: 02.02.0701
ID: IdQDGNbS
DateO: 2011.0801.1251
DateA: 2011.0525.1010
Main: GY362AX
Binary info: 110
