I don't think I need to introduce this classic. If you haven't read it, take the time for it.
I think beyond the main point of opposing change like grumpy grandpas, this applies to quite a lot of things that happen online, and it's a good thing to keep in mind while you're posting/chatting.

I am not sure if I understand much since this text is extremely long, but after skimming through it, assume it's about "vivre et laisser vivre" and not forcing others to fit your mold, right?

Ah ok. That solves a lot of issues, although it depends of disabilities, language spoken and reading skills.
