I know this will most likely not get finished due to possible C&D from Nintendo if they notice, but this makes me think it would be awesome if Nintendo decided to do an HD remake of Super Mario 64 for the Wii U. :)
it reached the netherlands' national news, so it won't be very long :(
though maybe they made some kind of arrangement
Huh, it doesn't work for me (maybe because I'm on Linux ? too lazy to reboot atm :P).
Did you install Unity web? (it has linux support :))
Oh I need to do that lol.
Yeah that might explain why it wont work :P
Welp no Firefox support. Dem b*tches.
Two things
- "Possible C&D"? More like " place your bets on when they'll get a C&D"
- Unity is the more or less official wiiu SDK.

The first time I ran it on Windows it didn't work either, but updating Unity Player fixed it.
As for copyrights they could always change the characters, music and parts of the map, then reuse the engine for something else.
That looks pretty nice! Like the Bob-omb Battlefield of my childhood, but in glorious HD.
The wonders of todays technology! :D

i cant wait
Ikr, by then games will probably be as advanced as Sword Art Online (http://anilist.co/anime/11757/SwordArtOnline). :D
wait... virtual reality CodeWalrus? *.*
I played it. It emulates quite nicely the original physics. But dang this eats my FPS...

Depends of the game and console I think. I have the feeling that non-celshaded Gamecube and Wii games that relies on having realistic graphics will look crappy. PS2 games are already starting to look a bit crappy in terms of realism. Mario and other games not requiring big graphics will probably age well, same for 2D or 2.5D games. Super Mario 64 is hit and miss, though. Some wall textures in the castle look really weird, for example, but the cartoony feel of the game helps making the rest look fine.
There will probably be some exceptions, though. Forza Motorsports for the Xbox, for example, has graphics that are so advanced for its time that it could be mistaken for an early Xbox 360 or PS3 game.
In any case, I don't mind if graphics look sub-par to today standards if the game is fun. But the difference is starting to get noticeable a lot.

I don't have any slowdowns personally, but again I replaced my graphics card with another middle-end one in early 2012.
Yep, there you ot. It's taken down
Too much hype for the author probably, it happened the same problem to Flappy Bird's father...
Yeah, i'm actually surprised it took this long considering it was on the national news
Or probably the server committed a suicide, this works too.
Aw I guess it was good while it lasted. D: Maybe the guy could release the engine?
The engine is Unity (http://unity3d.com).
Yeah but maybe some of the game code. Without assets ofcourse
Mmmh. THat's right, they could be somewhat useful as education purpose or learning things.
Then again, there are probably enough sources for Unity
