Superstar Hero (2008)
« on: June 25, 2015, 06:09:17 am »
For a certain period of time around 2008-09, SSH did not mean Secure Shell: It meant Superstar Hero. :P This is another game I made using RPG Maker 2003, this time with more customized graphics. It was an action-RPG, but it was never finished. I am posting it here for posterity since the original download link on Omnimaga went down in Early 2014.

Unlike in other RPGs where your stats increased while fighting more monsters, you now had to buy upgrades using gold that you got during battles, and some special items could be purchased in shops.

Most characters and monsters were designed using Charas.Ex, while the music was made by various members of the now defunct TIMGUL forums (some tracks were by me, such as the opening song).

This game will probably not work on Windows 8 or higher. I believe this game doesn't have the font problem that the other game had, but I remember that some Windows XP and Vista users had troubles running it.
