They won't change your computer until you move out from home? O.O Also welcome back :3=
Thanks. I had my computer confiscated for a bit, but now I'm back in school. :) :w00t:

123D is what I use for designing parts fro my 3D printer. But for more complex stuff (possibly a non pixilly walrii) I would make it up in blender
Thanks. I'll check it out.

Ah I see now. I thought your internet access had finally bit the dust and permanently. I mean, I thought you were caught on CW and that they had now sold the computer like they did with your TI-84+CE.

Nah, it's just hidden somewhere in my mom's room, and I have to use our desktop computer that's connected to a 55 inch Vizio 4K UHD display.
So basically, I can only access CW from school(gotta be careful) and home(when i'm home alone). But I also got access to my Nokia E63 again, so I can post for as long as the battery lasts wherever there's Wi-fi. :)

That sucks, you could get a raspberry pi and a Wi-Fi dongle or whatever, I am sure there is some way you could convince your parents about that. Then you could buy a touch screen for it...

But I don't know if that would work
u/Dream of Omnimaga May 05, 2016, 11:26:11 PM
An RPi is often used for coding and entertainment. I doubt it would convince them.
u/alexgt May 06, 2016, 11:34:51 AM
Yeah, I was wondering about that. My parents are for education so they are a sucker for that stuff xD
u/Dream of Omnimaga May 06, 2016, 04:28:18 PM
@alext by being for education do you mean they are against game development and stuff?
u/alexgt May 06, 2016, 05:12:22 PM
No, they just like me to "learn" stuff so if something helps me "learn" they are usually all for it :P. They actually like me developing games and stuff...
u/Dream of Omnimaga May 06, 2016, 06:14:27 PM
Oh ok phew. That's actually awesome then. :)
u/alexgt May 06, 2016, 06:45:51 PM
Yeah, I am very glad my parents are mostly cool :P
u/Dudeman313 June 07, 2016, 11:45:11 PM
I'd sure be great if my parents let me do that kind of stuff, but the problem is that I usually am using time I don't have(like now) to code and develop, so it makes sense why my mom disallows it.

Oh, well then if you are coding/gaming/browsing game sites instead of studying all the time then I can probably understand why they would restrict your computer usage Dudeman313. My main issue with parents is when a student is never procastinating, yet his parents still won't let him code, game or visit his favorite sites simply based on conservative views against technology/friends or religious motives.
