When you get an aura (by pasting 05 Walrified 10 post by 01 YOUR NAME 03 on Re: FAKE TOPIC NAME http://codewalr.us/1643/47948 into walrusirc) this surrounds you and you go into a meditation pose...

Made me chuckle harder than I want to admit.
Damn, I just admitted it.
Yeaaaah, this is definitely how you get auras. I do that all the time.

Something girls think exists. I think its supposedly some sort of soul energy surrounding you, and some people claim they can "see" it.
Simple test for if you can 'see' it
=
Small flowers with small brightly coloured or pastel petals
After some rain, and not with bright sunlight, for best (most obvious) results.
(the petals should 'glow')
There are various other 'proofs' of subtle energies you can do eg with crystals, but I can't be bothered to discuss anything here

Is this not just Heiligenschein (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heiligenschein) ? In which case, that's just a thing that happens with light.
they don't have a aura AROUND them they glow the petals themselves
the colour LOOKS BRIGHT
Interesting, but my science nerve screams bogus. Would love to be proven wrong, but I'm skeptical.

Is that first pic from Pokémon?
Yeah, mystery dungeon games on the DS analyze your "aura" from your finger (actually does nothing).
Ah ok. I always wondered if Mystery Dungeon was worth it compared to the main series, because they cost much less.

They're very different, but they're nice games :)
I was checking this thread, and I remembered that when it analyzes your aura, it doesn't care about your finger (actually the only thing it could know is where it is), but it uses your favorite color from the DS's settings instead.
Talking about auras, have you ever tried putting your finger on a small flashlight so that the light is fully covered in the darkness? The light goes through the finger and it kinda looks cool :P (and a bit like an aura)
Oh yeah that's awesome. You can also do it in daylight.
