Northernlion makes great Binding of Isaac and other indie game videos. Also streams thrice a week which are always hilarious, they play a variety of stuff there.
Tom Scott makes amazing engineering and science videos (Tom and Scott has the outtakes / behind the scenes stuff which is also cool)
Couple of Minecraft channels in there too.
Most of the other people are more minor channels that I don't check that often.

IIRC why Minecraft is so CPU-intensive is that it has to calculate what blocks to show and render them in real-time dynamically instead of a fixed map like other games. Not sure if this is actually why tho.

Skype also uses up lots more bandwidth than Discord. My crappy internet could barely handle Skype on its own, much less Skype + a game.
