So lately I've been working on a game called "Mental Dungeon" (considering changing the name to "Arithmattack"?)
The goal is to perform subtraction, addition and multiplication to a random set of numbers, to achieve specific numbers that will allow you to perform attacks and other moves. Hopefully coming soon!

Screenshots/Mockups:
Home Screen/Main Menu:                                                                   Battle Screen:

Shop- Purchase consumables or new weapons:                         Tavern- Replenish health or temporarily increase stats:

My entry for the 4x3, not done yet, but pretty far along.

Lets see if you can tell what it is from the screenshot.

Lately Ivoah and I have been collaborating on a new project in lua for nspire, a clone of the classic GBA strategy game: "Fire Emblem", the project name... "Nspire Emblem" (isn't that clever...)

Current Screenshot (graphics are temporary):

The plan is to have a semi-complete fire emblem game, with lots of items, characters and chapters, as well as a great story line. As of now, it displays the map and all of the units, and you can select units, and move them within a given range.

Stay tuned for more information, and comment if you have any ideas/suggestions!

Drawing & Animation / "Rogue Dungeon" Art
February 25, 2015, 01:41:48 AM
I've been pretty quiet lately, I went on vacation for a while, plus I've been working on this.
It started as some simple sprites for a game I'm working on, but I kept going with it and made a pretty extensive sprite-sheet. The base character sprite is based of something tr1p1ea made.
It contains various wall/floor tiles, items, weapons, objects, characters with 2-frame breathing animation, ui and more.

I also made a 4 shade greyscale version

Feel free to use any of this, just let me know and give credit.

Drawing & Animation / Art from Adventure
January 15, 2015, 01:17:18 AM
I was going to work on portal this afternoon, but I found some old sprites from "Adventure" (a game I was working on but never finished). I started adding/editing sprites and got a bit carried away. Here's where two hours got me:

Mockups:

Unfortunately, I think these mockups are a bit dense to have good performance on calc. I do think that I'll take this project up again at some point, I already have several ideas that will make it more interesting, and easier to make as well.

I'm on Windows Vista >.>

(yes I know this computer came with it and we never bothered upgrading it)
Vista might be my favorite windows operating system. I know it has its flaws, but its definitely the cleanest, most visually appealing, and has the best taskbar by far.
