Using thepenguin77's FourVid, I have converted the Star Wars crawl to a *barely* readable version for the monochrome TI-84+ series.

Aw you had my hopes up for a few minutes D:, I thought you redid a Star Wars crawl from scratch using Axe or something else. Still looks nice, though.
Now that could be some interesting contest at one point: Make a non-truvid/TIMM Star Wars crawl by programming it all and using sprites. It would probably be Axe, ASM or using pre-rendered xLIB sprites
Heh, same, you had my hopes up xD
I am no asm wizard, only an Axe-prentice, and Basic-ly decent.
It's fine :). But yeah this definitively gives me an idea for a contest, although it would have to wait since the next CW contest is different. :P

I'm considering turning this into a standalone, coded program.
Do you mean like the idea I suggested? Because that would be cool. I wonder if it would be easy to display Axe text zoomed in in a Mode-7 fashion? Ideally it should be readable too, even if fewer text appear on each line.
I didn't know this visual effect was called crawl in English, so I thought it was a dungeon crawl (roguelike) for the TI, into the Star Wars universe.
Well, since I saw Star Wars in the title, I kinda figured out since I discovered the meaning a few months ago, but I am more used about it being used for dungeon crawlers indeed. Nice to see you again Garvalf btw!
Cool! You coud try to make this into a library :)
