Since I've completed Hardest level on my laptop, anything is scaring me :p
(Not sure if the last sentence is correct ^^)
Translation: "Depuis que j'ai complété le niveau le plus difficile sur mon portable, n'importe quoi me fait peur"

Actually it was a joke because I noticed that most people I met on French websites who were from France said they avoided English websites because they didn't understand a single word of English. Yet, in Quebec, almost everyone that is under 35 years old can read English almost perfectly. :P I think it's because in Quebec we are surrounded by English provinces/states, most products have bilingual labels (or sometimes English-only in the case of video games) and English classes in school are mandatory starting in grade 4. English is so present over here that in the 90's, most SNES games you got in French in France were only released in English in Quebec, often to save on packaging costs.

On the other hand, I often notice that many French people have much better English than most English-native people :P

Being surrounder with bilingual languages doesn't help into talking/writing like a native, just look at Japan. So much english and yet, so much engrish ("FOR GREAT JUSTICE", anyone?)

Better english than the natives? Maybe because we usualy learn english only the school-way and keeping using the school-ish speaking/writing methods.

It helps a bit, IMHO, because sometimes we have no choice to use English or learn it. Our English might not necessarily be good quality, but at least we can actually read English. In a French-only environment, you don't need to learn English as much. Also, Japan might not be a good example because their alphabet is completely different. Not only they have to learn a new language, but they also have to learn an entire new system to write words. They can't even use lowercase letters on Japanese keyboards IIRC.

As for having better English than native English speaking people, I think it's because when we use a different language we try to be more careful to not make bad mistakes, while people who speak that language at home will usually not do as much effort (or worse, will use SMS).

Just a little innocent bump as I still plan to finish it as soon as I can. I'm busy within three (or more) school projects that I don't even have time for FXSH or SHC. I'll try to make them quickly so I can finish Super Hexagon.

My friend wanted me to put games on his calc so is this compatible with the fx-9750GII?

This looks awesome by the way

Thanks :)

Since the 9750GII doesn't support add-ins at all by default, you need to flash it with a 9860G ROM (there are tutorials online but it depends which hardware revision you got) in order to play the game, but I assume it should work once done.

Looks like this project (and Bust-a-Move) got me a place in the only state gamedev school in France. Don't forget following your dreams and don't hesitate to show your projects, they could help you later, kiddos.
