Merry christmas everyone! I got a mechanical keyboard (Corsair k70r) and its really nice. The body is made of metal which gives it a nice look :D

I got a 12 gram tube of Arctic Silver 5, a lot of rubber feet for my Dell Inspiron 5100, a new CPU (P4-M 2.4/512/533 (http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Mobile+Intel+Pentium+4+-+M+2.40GHz)) and a 80GB hard drive for my Latitude C640, a new battery (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003L0JRBY) for my Latitude D620, a new screen for my Latitude D600, a screen protector and new battery for my iPod nano 2G, a 16GB CF card, 48GB of thumbdrives, a lot of clothes, the best shirt (http://i.imgur.com/AkdWSKr.jpg), and $15 at Papa John's (courtesy of Crawdad)! I also bought myself a Uniden BR330T (http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/BR330T) scanner, a little present to myself; I got my dad a Uniden BCD396XT, and after determining I am completely unknowledgeable about it, I decided it was time for me to upgrade to a similar (but more relevant to my interests) scanner myself.
[edit] Yeah, no calculator stuff. But I only need TI-82s, and I'm picky enough that I have to buy them myself.
I got a CE! The speed is amazing, and it's good enough for me to actually program something more than a half-assed Cookie Clicker clone. So in the near future, watch out, guys :P

I got my first phone :D an LG V10
I got quite a bit of stuff, I received presents in Michigan with family and at home, and I will be going to my Grandparents' house to open presents in a few days ;D I won't list everything, but I'll list the highlights: A 3Doodle 3D drawing pen form "Santa", a Windows Surface RT from my mom, and a GoPro camera set from my parents.
I'll edit this with anything else I'd like to add after Wave 3 of presents.
As promised (although not too many care) I'm updating this post with what I go from Wave 3 (just the highlight): An accordion! I've been wanting one for years and I finally got one ;D

Also I am late but I didn't get much personally other than money I guess. We tend to not be a lot of people during holidays so I guess that's expected, but I don't mind, since I was with family.

Yea unfortunately the amp ran out of stock, but i reordered the same model. Accept i had to get it in plain black (as white ones ran out).
(It was the color that ran out, not the model)

Got a Miku Nendoroid, a pony coffee cup, Dragon Quest VI in Japanese for Super Famicom, the Guiness Book of Records 2017, some Adventure Time clothes, 4 tickets for Vilain Pingouin (giving one to DJ, that's my gift to him ^_^), some board games, things that are illegal in the United States and quite a bunch of other nice stuff. Also a few stuff I didn't got yet because friend didn't get it in the mail yet/didn't have the time to buy it or something.
I'm too old for Xmas so i got nothing...
Well that is, i bought a Raspberry Pi 3 for myself just so i can put Devuan 64-bits on it and see how well VC4 runs on the RPI3.

Prepare to be disappointed, last time I checked there was no X driver so most applications run like crap.

Yeah, it's not a joke. As far as I know, Kinder Surprise eggs are illegal in the United States because there's a risk kids (and not kids) will accidentally try to eat the toy inside and choke.

@Streetwalrus in USA and Canada, it just takes 1 fatal injury report that involves a lawsuit before something gets banned. Happened with many toys too. Toys that were deemed safe if safety instructions got followed, yet one person got injured or died and now the toy is banned. Thankfully in Canada it seems more lax, though, otherwise Nerf guns would have been banned ages ago or restricted to adult usage.

Yeah, GEMA is one of the worst thing for musicians in Germany. I bet some artists refuse to publish their work there just because of it, kinda like our stupid contest laws in Quebec. For ages I always saw thing such as "Contest available to all US and Canadian participants above 18 (excluding Quebec)", and I thought companies just had something against French people, and many others who are unaware of our contest laws think that this is intended to be some form of bigotry and that it is as bad as if for example Nintendo posted "Contest available to all White, non-Muslim US and Canadian residents above 18". It's only when doing a bunch of Google searches about why we're always excluded that it's our overly restrictive contest laws that makes it extremely difficult for companies to organize contests in Quebec. Thankfully, this only applies to lottery-based contests, not skill-based ones, so for example, a TI programming contest would be fine. Otherwise, for a lottery-based contest, a French copy of the rules must be provided and if the winner is in Quebec, we must pay the equivalent of 10% of the total contest prize value as a tax to "Régie des Alcools, des Courses et des Jeux" (Alcoholic Beverage, Race Betting and Gambling Agency)

@aeTIos , we don't really do the gift thing anymore in my family. Because there aren't really kids around anymore and the fact most gifts ended up being gift cards, we figured that we would be better off just focusing on spending time together more and going to the restaurant on New Year Day.
