Finally had time to do the new cover & ID tags for my 8th album "GEMS (The Green Album)". This album is different than the rest as it is completely chiptune (except the last song, which is a bonus song that was made back when I started making music). The instruments are from Wacky Worlds (Sega Genesis/Mega Drive) and are all from the Green Group (Drums, Bass, Synth, & Guitar). The "GEMS" part represents the sound driver that was used in the console to produce those sounds (more info here). First album completely made on LMMS. Hope you enjoy.

So far my experience with Pokemon GO has been AWESOME (glitches and server down time aside)
I first tried it out last Sunday, picked Charmander as my starter, went walking around my block and furthur. Caught a Pidgey, Spearow, Rattata, and Weedle. Went to 3 Pokestops (Fire Department A.K.A. Veterans of Foreign War Post 9592, Levittown Community Church, & the Levittown Water Tower (corner of Azalea Rd & Hilltop Rd)) Got to Level 3, started walking back home and noticed that apparently the area near the water tower is where you can catch Nidoran♀ & Kingler (I guess it thinks the town pool is a body of water or something).
As of today, the rest of the week was interesting. I noticed Monday that Gastly were available behind the building of my new job in Farmingdale. A few days later I tried searching the rest of the town, and noticed AdventureLand (an amusement park) is one of the Pokemon Gyms on Long Island. Encountered a few more gyms on the way home (nowhere near my house of course). Was able to catch new pokemon like Drowzee, Eevee, and Venonat. Over the weekend when I was at my gf's place in College Point Queens I tried it out, and apparently there's a lot more exotic pokemon in her area. Saturday night we went walking in the park near her apartment which not only has a nice view of Manhattan (the park is by the water), but it had 3 PokeStops and a Gym. Doduo is MASSIVELY common there, but I also was lucky enough to get a Jynx and Bulbasaur. Today heading home I was stuck on the Cross Island Parkway (always bumper-to-bumper traffic saturdays/sundays), so i opened up the app and not only did i catch a Tauros, but a Dratini too. Also Magikarp were everywhere by the water.
I'm having so much fun with this game. Right now I'm at level 7 and am using Charmander and Dratini for my main team. I plan on adding more to the team, but I have yet to find the ones i really want (like Poliwag, which is also by my gf's apartment but in the opposite direction).

Over the years using Music2000/MTVMusicGenerator on windows, i've come to the conclusion that it is one of those pc games that is caught between a rock and a hard place on Windows OS... It doesn't need MSDOS to function, but yet deteriorates in quality with any new Windows release. When I used to have WinXP I had little to no problems using the program. However, it started giving me more issues on Win7. You're best (and only) bet is to fool around with the "Compatibility" tab when you right click the game icon and go to properties. Since the game was made for Win95/98/2000, start there, and then work your way forward. Whichever one handles better, use that as your setting for the game.
Since I'm using Linux, I'm using "CrossOver" to play any Windows PC games I have, and Music2000/MTVMusicGenerator gives me no issues on that.

Yep... I'm mostly glued to my 3DS, but i also have a PS2, Wii (modded with NES, Genesis, SNES games), GameCube, N64, Saturn, and PS1. Only reason why i have BOTH PS1 & PS2 is because I'm using component cables for the PS2 which the PS1 is not compatible with (PS1 games on component hookup either don't show picture or they do but they get all screwy/glitchy depending on the game). I have a Steam account too, but i need to get a new controller for my computer (lookin to see how a PS3 controller works on Ubuntu since I hate how the Xbox360 controller feels, especially the d-pad).

This game is an anime-style rpg in which all the characters you acquire and face are all anime girls. The girls appear as collectible cards that you "summon" to face the opponent and their team. There is a campaign mode (which the story is goofy, but bare-bones), a VS mode where you can face anyone online (Top Floor, Arena, & 1 On 1), and many more modes such as "Champion" (open a chest for prizes everytime you beat a team, difficulty increases with each gold chest opened), "Evaluation" (you can train and take challenges for prizes), "Infinity" (you face off against tough bosses with stipulations on how to beat them), and "Work Place" (you set up shop to collect coins/diamonds over time & can rob other players). You can also set up your own guild and invite other people to join and take on challenges together. Theres also a store where you can buy things with the coins/diamonds you win (along with other currancy like guild coins, champion medals, and 1 on 1 medals) Each girl has upgradable armor/equipment and powerful spells/skills (incuding passive skills) that are unlocked the higher the level/rank. There are always events happening to mix things up, and the higher your acadamy level, the more stuff is unlocked to you. Best of all, this is one of those games where you don't need to spend any real money on any of the micro-transactions (I've gotten though level 50 and up without spending a dime on this game). **PLEASE NOTE, THIS GAME REQUIRES SOME SORT OF CONNECTION (MOBILE DATA/WIFI) AS IT'S ONE OF THOSE "ALWAYS ONLINE" GAMES** |  |

If you like Tower Defense games and cat related things then you should definitely give this game a try. This is the first tower defense game I played and I enjoy it immensely. You send a bunch of different cats to attack the enemies and their tower. As you progress, you can acquire more cats, and upgrade them to different levels. Each stage has treasures you can find that will increase a certain stat (like XP gain and cat unit attack power). The battle system is simple, just touch a cat icon that you equipped on your team and let them do the rest. There's two different versions of this game. The Mobile game, and the 3DS game (a.k.a. POP). I recommend the 3DS version if you have a 3DS, because you don't have to worry about any micro-transactions since they are gone, plus you can play local vs with a buddy. The downside is that their are only 3 chapters, unlike the mobile game which has double that plus more. |
