Discontinue it.
Based on the NES Classic and the fact the Switch had the biggest launch sales of any of their consoles so far, this means that the Switch will be discontinued by the end of the year. :P
Why?
They must have a decent reason...
It has gotten a lot of hate, but still...
I imagine that it must be that the manufacturing company needs to focus on other products,
but that's just my theory. Something that I'm almost certain of is that Nintendo wants to
put the Switch in the spotlight.
That's possible, although it's kinda odd that a product that is still a big success is being discontinued. It's like if Walmart decided to go out of business because they have too many customers. The only other possibility is that the NES Classic is being sold at a loss or breaking even.
Yeah. I cannot believe that the hype for the switch will have lasted longer than the Switch itself.
Probably need to manufacture more switch's but the NES classic might be 'held onto' until Christmas to ensure another feeding frenzy ensues.
Well, they said it was officially discontinued now, meaning it's over. Unless they change their mind? It's good that they focus on the Switch, though, but it's just weird.
