It's almost that time of year where high school students start building robots to compete in messed up versions of beloved sporting events.
So FRC peeps, represent!

So yeah Breakaway was an interesting game (that was the game that xkcd references). My prediction is a game similar to Logomotion or Rack n' Roll

Anyway if you guys participate into robotic competitions this winter, please share your creations with us.  Videos would be nice too so we can see them in action. :)

So how did everyone's robots turn out?

I don't have a video of my team's robot (yet), but it's essentially a suction cup crane.

It's a MMO where you can build robots and fight in 10 on 10 battles.

Ooh I didn't know about that one. I wonder if it's fun? I know there are some Wii and 3DS games with robots where you can customize robots and upgrade them, but I don't know if those games allowed online play before, plus the robots are only stuff like Transformers.
