Also not sure why but apparently my ZNC parted the chan by itself the other night and now it no longer automatically get opped in the EFnet chan.

The auto op issue should be fixed. The problem is that only my znc auto ops yours so if it doesn't have ops we're screwed. Gonna set up eggdrop soon.

Yep, we'll set that up on 3-4 servers. What is nice with Eggdrop you can easily make a botnet and make a bunch of bots on different servers communicate together.

Eggdrop botnet is definitively a must, as long as there aren't issues with bots recognizing us. Ideally we should all have access to the partyline with different powers (eg me being able to change the topic and the mod staff being able to kick/ban)

I think we should make it so that staff is just voiced in the channel and give different permissions to each in the partyline.

Yeah that's what I thought as well. Kinda like how #omnimaga was setup in 2006-09 and how #ti/#cemetech are currently setup. To kick people the !k command is used and to KB you just request ops then set the ban (which makes the bot kick the person automatically afterward). Or if you want the ban to last more than 2 hours you can join the partyline then set it there. That stuff is ancient but it does the job.
