Hello!
I noticed that we are missing a "x Reasons that you are a CodeWalr.us" thread.
So here it is :)
In this thread you describe reasons what identifys you as a CodeWalr.us member.
Be creative!
Feel free to comment more or say which of them you experience yourself.
I am a CodeWalr.us...
1. because I make douzens of Walrii sprites.
2. because the first website I open when I start my computer is CodeWalrus
3. because I own that damn website.
4. Because I stay up late (read : all night) to make the aforementioned damn website better.
5. Because walruses are cute (http://img.codewalr.us/rainbowwalrii3b.gif)
6. Because it's almost exactly like how Omnimaga was back in 2009-11 :P
7. Because calculator games rules
8. because hack all the things :D
9. because I love offtopicness and psychedelic themes.
10. because I made one of DJ's favorite walriii :walriichu:
11. because being none is as mad as being one.
12. You're so focused on actual content that you forget to participate in forum games.
13. Because it isn't blocked by your school
14. Because I joined the community here.
15. Great place to show prime games
16.Hehe /walrii in IRC
17. /ponies
18. Best website ever.
19. Also best community.
20. And best mascot, while we're at it.
21. EASTER EGGS EVERYWHERE
22.Walruses are cute ^.^ (http://youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ)
23.Awesome people
23. Because it's always Easter
24. Because you love the .us
25. Because Iron Man now has a stache
I am surprised we don't have this topic yet [edit: it looks like we had one, but it was named differently and not related to calcs, so I decided to merge both] considering the days where 100% of CW members were Omnimaga exiles are over, but here is it now. Ideally you should try to keep up with past signs to avoid repeating too much, though. That might make it easier one day to compile all signs in one text. Anyway the rule is to not double-post unless it has been 24 hours and avoid spammy signs such as "1: lol" or saying "I like repeating a lot" over and over. Here I go:
26) You have been into calculators since before the birth of some current members
27) You made over 100 derivatives from :walrii: sprites.
28) Your calculator is one of (if not your) most used gaming console.
29) Your calculator is your main computer.
30) You try to make your external calculator keyboard your main keyboard
31. You founded CodeWalrus
32. You post a lot (eh DJ?)
33. The Calculators owned field is full (EH DJ?)
34. :walrii: is now your catchphrase on IRC (EH DJ???)
35. You're friends with DJ Omnimaga
36. You're DJ Omnimaga
What did I do? O.O
also 11 is scary <_<
Also I wonder how I could forget the following:
37. You own more than one graphing calculator (in my case 29)
38. You own multiple copies of the same graphing calculator model (*cough*
@CVSoft 's TI-80 collection *cough*)
39. you use your calc to browse the internet. (Gossamer)
40. Even your English accepts the fact you need your calc in class.
41. Your reputation for programming far surpasses what you can actually do.
42. You become enraged at Walrifier for not working over data.
43. You've tried to make some sort of calculator RPG and failed. (Anyone? Don't hide!)
About Gossamer and Calcnet chat, it's funny how it's easier to chat on CodeWalrus for free on a TI calculator than it is on an iPad O.O
Also
@E37 isn't there a Walrifier setting that allows using data? If not then that's probably something
@Cumred_Snektron might want to implement.
44: You have tried to make multiple calculator RPGs and succeeded
(Note that 44 applied several times to me too, despite finishing many)
45. You managed to release a calc RPG a month
(still not sure how it was possible o.o)
That's called good (or poor? :P) time management. :P
But one thing that sped up development was the fact most graphics used ASCII art. The other thing is that I often re-used code from previous Illusiat/ROL games in the next ones (Illusiat 7 uses the same engine as Illusiat 6). I also had a lot of free time due to school not being very demanding at the time.

Yo, what happened to the reasons?
46. You know C and have never made a came for a PC/Mac, only for a Calculator
47. When asked what languages you know, you list all the calc related languages first.
48. You have a fascination for walruses.
@Unicorn there is no rule in this topic stating that every single post should have a reason. It's recommended to have reasons, though. :P
49. When asked what language do you speak, you answer TI-BASIC, ASM, Axe or some other similar language instead of English/Dutch/etc.
JUju did the opposite at a Job interview. O.O
So a little bump:
50. You just realizes there was actually another topic similar to this on CW then merge them. This would normally not be a sign that I am addicted to CW, but the fact I went as far as doing the effort of editing all previous posts to increment the numbers by 15 makes it one.
51. You are saving money for a trip to Quebec City just to see the five walruses located at the Quebec Aquarium, hoping you'll get to see a show with the three adult :walrii: doing tricks
52. You already went to see the walruses at Quebec Aquarium, but were disappointed that they couldn't fly like :walrii:
Eh, told ya there was another topic about that.

JUju did the opposite at a Job interview. O.O
I can't believe I actually did that. They asked me in what programming language this project was written in and I said English.
53. You acknowledge the fact DJ is cranked enough to increment every number in the thread by 15.
You didn't give me the topic link :P
54. You are making a new programming language at the calculator but you're too lazy to learn another real language.

54. You are making a new programming language at the calculator but you're too lazy to learn another real language.
But then how do you make the new language if you don't know any other? O.O
55: You can't stop returning. Ya just keep comin' back...

I mean a real language, like English, Spanish... :P
Oh ok, I was kinda confused :P
That said, at least you learned more than 1 language in your life (English and Dutch), unlike people in some countries or areas of countries. :P

*cough* frenchies *cough*
56. You go on calc websites just to convince yourself that you are an amazing programmer while you only know crappy TI-BASIC.
57. You discovered CW while seeking for games to install on your first 84+
58. You are rank 14 on TI-Planet and managed to spam more than members who arrived years before you.
You can actually do some epic stuff in TI-BASIC you know (although it's much easier on monochrome calcs if you use no lib). About 58 did you beat Tama's post count yet, though? :P
59. You made a Github repo of the walrus sprites in the Walrii Fanart thread (not me, but yes, it was done)
60. You tey hard to keep your posts/day average high despite it not meaning anything.
61. You look like Mike Wozniak
@MateoConLechuga
62: You know you'll never do it but still try to beat DJ in posts per week
63: You spend more time on CodeWalrus than on all other websites combined
/me adds the 7th bit to the counter
64: You're better at drawing hex sprites on your calculator than real drawing
65: You made 11 posts in a row without anyone else posting or even commenting in between
66: You stare at your "average daily posts" after each posts only to see it slowly increase <3
67: it's your name shown behind all 15 items in the "Latest Active Topics" list...
68. You end up realizing that posting 20 times a day isn't that great
69. You add text that says "lvl 69 Russian snake" to your avatar
@Cumred_Snektron 70. You are obsessed with quantity over quality
71. holy necropost batman it keeps happening
72. You manage to post 2000 posts
73. EDIT: not yet, you like to abuse edits
74 you keep forgeting that the randomness section doesn't increase your post count.
75: You're drinking out of a glass that got "Codewalr.us" written on it.
76: you pray to a walrus and create a game to honor the allmighty walrus :ninja:
Where did you get that glass by the way? O.O

The walrus god gave it to him of course!
you can easily engrave any text/pics in glasses yourself...
you need a drill-like thing with a special diamond head (cant really describe it).
should I post some OC/UC on this? ^^
I was at a market and paid someone to make a glass with CodeWalr.us for me ^^

Ooh I see. I thought you got it from some merch store someone setup without us knowing :P
And yeah you should post it :)
okeyyyy I'll try to make a photo soon, but it really nothing special. But I'm thinking about making some more real walrus stuff :ninja:
the reason these threads never work out is because we get off topic.
78. You start a thread specifically for counting why you are addicted to a forum and then derail it with offtopicness.
79. you control your posts with (-_(//));

80. You think it's fun to comment on other people's signs that they're addicted to something
81. Them: (http://img.codewalr.us/flashywalruses2.gif)
82: You're still damn proud of something no matter how crappy it is as long as it cot CodeWalrus written on ot O.O https://img.ourl.ca/FullSizeRender.jpg
83. To destroy the last traces of reallife, you manipulate metadata and censor fingerprints on pictures you post.
That's a bit hardcore.
actually that's standard procedure for me...
But you all already know I'm paranoid ^^
84: you prefer looking for broken links in old CodeW threads instead of going outside, thanks to that sometimes not seeing the sun for days...
I would say hack everything but someone said that
85: I spend too much time on the internet
86:I don't have a life
87: You still remember the old days when grayscale programs ran much faster and looked better on the old TI-83 Plus than on any 15 MHz calculator model.
88: When you have more calculators than actual friends.
Hey there
@p3n4,
looks like you're new to the site ^^
maybe you want to (you don't have to) introduce yourself to the other members? :)
You can do it here: *click me* (https://codewalr.us/32/48504)
89: you have more conversations on CodeW than IRL (https://codewalr.us/walrusirc/smileys/meh.gif)
Looks like we got a p3 to make fun of now XD
jk. :P
90: You have p2-p4 in one place on the Internet at the same time.
91: You know ASCII by heart.

105: You try to organize a calculator gaming tournament at an eSports venue.

@_iPhoenix_ ? The only thing I am thinking of is "Alcooliques anonymes" O.O
Yer right!

107: People begin to think you are mad. Like mad scientist mad. Which you may or may not be.
108: You post here at CW > 20 times a day, and even challenge others to beat it.
@p2, namely.
109: You seem to get mentioned here at least once a week.
110: You have a youtube channel to showcase your calculator projects.
