Title: Paint HP Prime app
Post by: David T on February 25, 2017, 08:37:40 AM
Hello,
here is a paint app that i made für the HP Prime calculator. It has a lot of functionalities, including filling shapes, different brushes and much more. The canvas is also saved when you exit.

Thanks for watching!

Wow that really looks impressive!
Do you plan more tools for the future? :)

Thanks :)
I thought about more tools already, but I dont know which additional tools would make sense. Do you have anything specific in mind?

Looks very good and fun to use. I like the flood fill in particular. :). As for additional features, my suggestion would be to allow any color by sliding your finger on the RGB screen thing. Maybe also multiple text types. For example normal, bold, underline or italic (I think there's a way to use italic text on the HP Prime) and even text with a border (eg drawing the same text 9 times with different offsets, then drawing a 10th layer of text in the middle with a different color).

well most of the basic tools are already there so let's go to the fancy stuff:
multiple layers would really rock!! :D
Also a selection tool (rectangles, cyrcles, color select), of cause for each layer separately
next super cool thing would be a little smoothing tool to blur things :) (maybe one for selected areas and one like a blurring pencil?)
aand for pencils in general: Maybe add more options so u can chose the shape of the pencil not to be a square as it is by default :)

*u forgot to show the CUSTOM RGB item in the demo vid ;)
